This is from the SPR, and actually involves Reverse!WT characters, but can't you see the same thing happening to Original Flavour Stanford Pines?

All those dog Royal Guards in Undertale?

Their main job is search-and-rescue and finding lost things! Not much crime in the Underground.

ETA: this is also why they are specifically in Snowdin-the snowy place, with a forest, where Getting Lost in the Snow and maybe getting Hypothermia is a valid concern for people without helpful ghostly guides who help you beeline for the Barrier.

this is debatably lighthearted, but. In Alderaan culture, different styles of braids hold a number of different symbolic meanings, and doing and undoing braids is a very intimate act (this part is canon). Leia's focus on the sorta external affairs of Alderaan's government (the diplomatic stuff, the mercy missions to worlds in need, etc), and her relative isolation as a Princess meant that she ended up missing out on or taking a lot of the minutiae of Alderaan's history and culture for granted. So when Alderaan was destroyed, there was very little that she felt intimately connected to enough to try and preserve. She made some efforts to research and incorporate certain traditions and beliefs into her behavior, but ultimately it felt like playacting, like too little too late and ultimately more a mockery than a tribute.
But she's spent enough time day after day being wrangled into the appropriate hairstyles that those feel like home to her. And when Ben comes along, that's what she passes on to him. The little bit of her home world she can see safely preserved. (Until, yunno, the stuff.)

sappy and not as lighthearted as I had hoped, but dangit, I have feelings about how weirdly estranged from her own home planet's culture Leia can come across as. She was so immersed in intergalactic affairs her whole life, and, and. Dang, but Leia, tho.

Aiden's not really a big fan of fiction or watching movies, so most of the ones he has watched have been things like kids movies and a couple of the sappy animal movies like Marley & Me. He couldn't tell you what roles Vin Diesel has had other than the Pacifier, but he can pretty reliably remember some of the Rock's movies. He can sing most Disney songs by heart.

This has led to a hilarious misunderstanding where he thinks that these are pretty much the only movies Nicky likes too. She hasn't ever heard him mention movies that he hasn't seen with her kids, so she figures he's a big softie and watches romcoms with him during brother-sister movie nights.

In reality, Nicky fucking loves horror. Sometimes, when Aiden takes the kids for a weekend trip, she just sits down and bingewatches every single shitty horror flick that's been put on demand recently.

(After the first game, she can't watch a lot of home invasion or kidnapping style horror/suspense, but she can still do pretty much anything supernatural and most slasher films are just ridiculous enough that she can watch them without getting triggered.)

i was thinking about my headcanon of Chara having a tiny soul of account of being dead (as in, their soul shattered but they have one of the little pieces that stuck around and it reshaped into a proper soul shape but it's still tiny) and then i thought, what if their ghost form resized to still be properly scaled to their soul

APH's nations really don't usually get involved in their countries' darker sides. We are talking about a group including a guy who gets fanon about being involved with the Mafia, yet his idea of terrifying revenge involved a fake moustache.

If you give Jedi Tori uj cake and actually get him to eat it, which is a nigh impossible task as that boy hates eating and hates associating with his culture even more, he is the happiest Jedi ever. Who uses magic Jedi powers to not cry about it.

    but he would

One of several running jokes I have come up with in the course of @keltena 's Umineko playthrough (and my desperate efforts to stay ahead of them) is that the reason so many fantasy characters (the Stakes, the Chiesters, even the Eiserne Jungfrau) are dressed in some variation on "black leotard with a random line of ruffles just above the crotch, thigh-highs, a bolero jacket, and a skirt that's open in front" is that Beatrice has a Thing for that look and wrote a dress code for summoned entities into the game rules. It doesn't apply to guys, so Ronove gets away with not wearing it, and Gaap gets an exception for being Beato's besty (and ignores rules in general anyway). Dlanor managed to rules-lawyer in a long coat instead of the bolero jacket + skirt, but could not escape the tyranny of the leotard. Zepar and Furfur's genders are "blue" and "orange," so the dress code wasn't sure if it applied to them or not; they're still wearing all of it but the jacket out of respect for Beato's Thing, though.

APH Korea basically never sleeps. It would take time away from competing with Japan in academic achievement and maintaining his StarCraft score. Also, when he has to stay still, he perpetually fiddles with pens or his sleeve cuffs or anything that comes to hand.

Thanks to her canonically being a fan of Clarissa Explains It All, which has a title character who likes TMBG, I choose to believe that Joey Claire is a fellow TMBG fan.

Fiethsing has a habit of reading in bed or looking at stones in bed in the morning because fuck it whatever. Being she is an elf this means she ends up floating above the bed sometimes. Leading to the occasional wonderings of "Where did my fucking wife run off to this time" by Zero in the morning. Until she looks up to see, oh there she is. Floating around like a fucking jackass.

    but she's her jackass

Tracer doesn't like video games much, because sitting still pretending to go places and do things just feels wrong to her when she could be out going places and doing things, and she especially dislikes stuff that's slow placed and requires a lot of stat micromanaging and shit. Despite that, she has a fairly high level character in World of Warcraft, because Winston played a lot of it and other online multiplayer games, and she wanted to aquire a hobby they could do together, with the added bonus of being able to play together when they were stationed on opposite sides of the Earth.
