Yeah, I read my fair share of YA back in the day. I know it's basically just whatever the fuck kinda genre with a teen protagonist. YA/paranormal was supposed to be combo ya/paranormal, not ya=paranormal romance.
...um, well yes of course? I say this as someone who likes Twilight and thinks that Bella is an underrated, awesome adrenaline junkie who might look submissive to some people but never ever fails to get her way... Bella's not so much a dim bulb and more like freakishly immune to having a normal sense of fear. She runs headlong into situations most people would nope the fuck out of.
And, didn't the kids Arianna went off on survive, albeit traumatized? Anything that doesn't reduce humans to fine red mist won't scratch a twampire, because they are made of 100% pure wank. (Like. The Killing Curse might be able to kill them. Might. But it can be dodged, and...) Also, I feel 'minor character from franchise X could beat up character from Franchise Y' is a good way to conclude that the only good writing is DBZ?
Did they just... miss the period key? But, that is exactly how one makes the best glass of coffee. I will fight you all.
I mean. I know nothing about those characters, and therefore cannot judge OOC-ness levels, but the writing itself doesn't seem too bad? It's just... grammar, motherfucker, do you have it?
i will stan for creamer + milk combob, for iced coffee at least plain coffee is too strong, just milk in coffee is too weak, just creamer is too rich amd sweet. but a combo of the three is perfect baby bear porridge of strong, smooth, and not too sweet
I mean my gallbladder is probably going to bail out early so i'm enjoying that sweet sweet creamer and/or half and half and/or whipping cream while i can Also tfw a fic is good but consistently misspells some character names, to the point where i'm wondering if their first language isnt english, and theyre basing the spelling on some translation
