General CAT-ter (The Beanery)

Admittedly, sometimes mythology cats can be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Hermes is a terror when he's decided to go have fun at everyone else's expense.

 

My cat names are all cat puns with media characters. Catniss, Cassandra Aradia Portia Calogera Filomena Pentacat, and Garrus Catarian.

 

We are adopting a little boy maine coon mix named Oberon.

As soon as all the paper work is finalized (Dallas Pets Alive takes vetting adoptive parents very very seriously) I will be able to pet the tum!

@Saro is correct is a scarce all cat parents must make to pet the soft tum.

 

My mom named Lilly after Lilith, and Ty is named Tyson after a book character he reminded me of.

 

This catto is named Sabrina... the new cat in my nana's wing. She seems nervous but hung around with me, my nana, my mom and (?)th cousin in nana's room accepting pettins and purring. Also several treats. She has silly paws with thumbs

The last cats I had a chance to name (Brownie, Angel, Sugar) I named when I was no older than ten, so they are all fairly literal :P Or... were literal, in the case of Angel, who is now very sweet with me but a definite One-Person Cat who will attempt to maul anyone else who affections at her without being first blessed as a cat bed. Brownie was a brown mackerel tabby (as was her littermate I also named before we adopted him out, Tree Bark), and Sugar was a pied brown tabby with white all across her belly like an open sugar bag :P

My cat (a cream point ragdoll) is named Sunfish. The cattery where she was bred had a sire named Sunny, and all his kittens were named Sun___ and I guess they had used up Sunshine, Sunbeam, and other likely candidates for naming.

She's my cat now because she couldn't get pregnant . . .

 

Sunfish is an adorable name for a cat

especially if she does that rollover wiggle in sunbeams

 

Hermes gets into lovebug moods sometimes, so he's just spent the last five minutes going from my lap to facerubbing and headbutting the dog and then back to my lap before repeating the whole process again. He's not sure what he wants to do anymore, he just wants to love EVERYTHING.
