Spoiler: spoilers for episode 7 so uh.....I know that the conversation about Homeworld wasn't what Steven wanted, but. when Pearl was trying to tell him things about Homeworld, about the Diamonds....the way she kept. covering her mouth when she was about to say things, and....I dunno. it looked like she was gonna throw up tbh, and. it just. is making me wonder.... can Pearl legitimately not talk about these things? like, what if she's got some mental block or something and it's. not even her choice, she actually has certain things she can't talk about??

AGREED. but also, if that IS the case, I really....I don't know. it adds something to Pearl's backstory, for one--if she legitimately can't talk about these things, for some mental block reason, that means either she somehow put up a wall of her own making (maybe because it was so painful she couldn't talk about it?), or....someone else did that to her. and if it's the latter....who? when? and why?? just. one on hand, it'd be horrible for someone to do that TO Pearl. on the other, it....would make some sense given her reaction when trying to tell Steven things--and it would be such a great story arc, especially for Pearl, AND it would be actual backstory for Pearl which we have like none of thus far. Spoiler: also re: Sadie Killer I want that song she sang. give it to me pleeeeeeeeeeeeease.
