General CAT-ter (The Beanery)

So one of "my" cats is a feral who likes pettins and will come inside when it gets too cold for him. This morning he finally decided he was done with the incoming cold snap, and bonked the door til we let him in.
He is now meowing mournfully to be let out. Even though if we open the door he stands there, sniffs the air, and retreats further into the house.

omg!!!! where'd you get them?

 

I got them at Nordstrom Rack of all places, they were in the part where you line up to wait for a cashier on super discount, I got them for 3 bux when they were originally 25. I'm assuming they were left over from Halloween and they wanted to make room for Santa ear buds or something. I could Not resist when I saw them

 

I visited the cat cafe on Thursday with a friend from high school :3

So here are 3 of the ones i keep mixing up, due to being Smol and tabby-ish
The light grey one on the right is Little Bit, who has been adopted and will be going home at some point! The one on the wheel, idek, and same for the other one altho that cat is less smol.

The younger ones were energetic and there were like 4 people there with laptops. All laptops were sat on, including one person whose music started playing 3 times because a cat hit the music program hotkey or something. Almost entirely silent in the cat room... when suddenly It's Jam Time
No pic but i absolutely cracked up laughing. Someone else just closed her own laptop like, nope nothing will get done here so i'll just let the cat sit on my laptop

Not sure if this is the same one who was on the wheel? But they napped and have very floofy ears


My friend got a turkey sandwich and two of the young cats walked on our table and tried to get the sandwich and also my mocha, but they were Not Allowed. It was 2 cute, no pics because i had to hold onto my drink and dessert

This is Prim, who i believe ive posted before. I got no clear pics of her, she's been adopted tho so Congrats Prim U Made It. A lot of the cats were excited about these yellow plastic springs, and it apparently made Prim enter the void or something


And then we went to my friend's house to see her cool scarf collection and also her cat Phoebe, who sounds kind of raspy but meows a lot and licked my hand and a can of soda repeatedly. Solid 10/10 all around

I started following their instagram after you shared it way back. I'd almost forgotten I didn't find them on my own so I was surprised for like half a second when I realized I recognized the cats!

 

Sitting eating my dinner when suddenly a little beige and white paw appears on the edge of my plate and ever-so-delicately hooks a piece of sausage over the edge into kitty nomming range.

She then proceeded to spit it out and bat it all over the living room. Thanks, Mitten.

 

It's... something of a mixed bag in my family. Our childhood cat was called Dinah, after the non-cheshire kitty in Alice in Wonderland. My brother and I picked a kitten each out of a shelter litter after she passed away - Ed not being terribly original with names, called his orange cat Tiger, and I named Lupin after my favourite garden flower ^^;;

Idek man. There's no shame in naming someone after a favor fictional character - all my hamsters have had names on that theme :)

 

Update: young growing felines! Starting a band (and doing some vocal warmups, perhaps?)!
