Spoiler: A weird thought re: Battle for Mewni finale

Now, I don’t really know shit about Plato, but there was a fire there so what if, when she died, Star left the cave for a bit?

The way Glossaryck described it got me thinking.

"This is where we are" - the multiverse

"And this is not magic anymore - it's just soup." - possibly a reference to how Toffee spoiled it, but I like to think he's being literal.

Magic is liquid. You can swim in it. Wands are spoons. The soup is not magic. Magic is the soup. Step out of the cave and magic is just hobo gravy.

Star steps back in and then blasts Toffee with a dose of steaming hot fresh chunks.

Also when Star dipped into the soup the water in the Sanctuary changed too. What was once Toffee, who had corrupted all magic, became Star, who would have needed to touch all of magic to drive him out?

Actually this has me thinking about Eclipsa. If the world is a circle of light and an old man with some soup, what's the meaning of a Queen of Darkness? Does Eclipsa reach out beyond the light? Ancient evils unawoken?

 

I really hope the fact that Marco lived like 20 years and then got Narnia'd is brought up again sometime. Like... come on have them run into someone that he helped while on his quest or let him complain about going through teenager years a second time or something.

 

I do too, because that would suck.

Oh these are really cool. Though I gotta say I'm disappointed there's no Hekapoo mode. Final form star is flame aesthetic yeah but. More like a sun than a forge. And why no sword fractal horns for Omnistar?

it's great. I mean I'm getting a few vibes that Eclipsa's probably not quite as innocent or blameless as she seems--she DOES say she "did what she had to do for herself", which could mean she did some bad stuff to try and ensure she could live happily with her monster lover. but....even then, like. so far, she doesn't seem anywhere NEAR as bad as she's been made out to be, y'know? and I'm loving it.

so Eclipsa’s daughter clearly did not become Queen. also, she seems to have been hidden away for safety, so it doesn’t seem like many people even knew she existed, and so presumably no kid of hers could’ve become Queen either.
which begs the question, I think, of WHO THE FUCK CARRIED ON THE ROYAL LINE AND BECAME QUEEN AFTER ECLIPSA.
did she have a little sister?? another, previously-born fully-human daughter? what happened! I NEED ANSWERS
