Sooty appears to be selectively mute, since he only speaks by whispering into his puppeteer's ear.

Complains-Of-Names tried a few different types of anger-management distractions before settling on making and painting his pewter-incarnations-of-various-monsters-and-adventurers. Kin has what looks like PTSD and Dellyn may or may not have had narcissistic tendencies.

I've been watching Hunter x Hunter recently and Gon pings some autistic vibes with me. Not to mention kirapika obviously has ptsd. I know killua has something going on but I don't know enough to tell what.

*bursts into the thread* Yellow Diamond is avoidant as all get-out.

Look at her. Everything about the war and Pink Diamond's death has become a huge Bad Thing for her. She never wants to speak about the Bad Thing. She can't take thinking about the Bad Thing too long without breaking down into extreme anger or grief. She wants to destroy the last traces of the Bad Thing in a way that doesn't actually involve her going near the Bad Thing.
Every other second in The Trial she's trying to get it to end because it's the Bad Thing and the Bad Thing is in her face and why can't she just kill the Bad Thing and be done with it already, why can't it go away?

Thanks to a comment by my girlfriend about Rest And Ricklaxation, I think it's actually likely that Rick has NPD and Beth has a SEVERE case of fleas (and likely some other shit due to Rick's abandonment of her).

I feel like this is just reinforced by The ABCs Of Beth, with the addendum that I think Beth might have antisocial tendencies (and Rick might as well)?

Susan from EGS claims she is not a germophobe and I agree, that sounds like your typical garden OCD.

Also, I've never had much interest in the Yandere archetype but a recent Halloween event in one game has one featuring prominently and it just occurs to me how well the trope maps to BPD

Well, that might explain why I love that archetype so much...

APH Korea probably has something going on regarding his total lack of regard for personal space to the point of inventing a mind-reading device and his inflated ego, but I don't know what.

So as @chaoticArbiter pointed out, Peridot outright states in Back To The Kindergarten that she deals with feelings of hopelessness on a day-to-day basis, so I think Peridot having some sort of depressive disorder is...not so much a headcanon as it is essentially canon, but yeah.

I feel like Zero from FoW has to have something going on though what I'm not sure. My gut says possibly some sort of anxiety problem. She's noted as having difficulty coming to decisions, which seems a bit odd for a woman portrayed as deeply serious and responsible. This comes up in her way of speaking or thinking, namely that she spends lots of time waffling or pondering endless scenarios. Never really arriving at any one conclusion. It's noted that it usually has to be Fiethsing to be the decisive one out of the pair by a student of Zero's. Zero is also pointed out as being tightly wound up and kind of terrifying in just how stern and grumpy she can be. This apparently gets even worse when she hasn't had at least some time to cool off with Fiethsing. Few things can make you cranky like being anxious or fearful and "Become a bitch" is a solution to nerves or other mental issues I've seen more than once in my life.

Whatever it is she's good enough at managing it to have reached the positions she has in life. What with being one of the sages who protect the realm and ensure it's balance, and being private tutor the King's son as well as leader of his guard. Fiethsing also seems to help with managing it, as she calms Zero down quite a bit.

I just rediscovered Pumpkin Scissors and was reminded of how strongly I get the impression that Randel Oland has a developmental disorder of some sort. I can't really explain it, and A Lot of the things I might point to as evidence are also potentially explained by him being enormously traumatized by whatever the fuck happened to him, but it's there and I just keep thinking about it skhsgfjshg

Also, from BnHA, Toshinori/All Might having ADHD. I feel like that fits with his tendency to be Dramatic and some of his weird social things, and also the fact that Horikoshi gave him 6/5 on his Intelligence stat but also he's clearly not often thought of as being Smart, even by himself. Makes me wonder if he just has Too Many Impulses in his head and only the strongest ones last long enough for him to figure out what to do with them.

The spinoff series Vigilante: BNHA Illegals also totally supports this, I think! Specifically this whole chapter concerning how Naomasa and Toshinori first met, and especially the little chat they have about All Might's tendency to do spontaneous heroism without filing the proper paperwork afterwards:

...He's not good at desk work. And generally I feel like he's being deliberately written as "the kind of guy who Can't Sit Still for that kind of thing".

Anyway, I personally hadn't considered reading him as ADHD until I read this chapter, but then all the points you brought up are really good too, so...the headcanon's officially cemented, I guess!

Do we have a physical disability headcanon thread? Caliborn's habit of stopping. Mid-sentence like this. Always makes me hear his voice as wheezy and pausing for breath a lot, like Stevie on Malcolm In The Middle. Even though logically Calliope should have the same issue and doesn't.

The Good Place is on hiatus currently so here's a good time to type up my thoughts. A grammatically challenged long paragraph info dumping lies ahead.

Chidi is/was (verb tenses for life after death are weird man, so idk which to go with) a moral philosophy professor. This is clearly his special interest. He also uses it as his lens to look at the world. When confronted with choices Chidi gets indecisive because he does not want to make a morally imperfect choice. Chidi pretty canonically has OCD that manifests as hyper scrupulosity, which makes him relatable to me. I don't know if it is pure O OCD for Chidi or not. Chidi is shown being super guilty about a decision over whether to be honest about his opinion of a colleague's cowboy boots or to lie. The boots are hideously tacky. We see him talking about his guilt over lying to a friend to his girlfriend who is annoyed to be having this conversation at 2 am. Chidi accidentally stalls over picking a soccer team for recess until the time runs out for him to make a decision ("Congratulations, Chidi you filibustered recess"). Chidi likes routine--he's not a fan of change. Chidi is not good at lying or deception. When it's revealed that they are in hell Chidi's first response is it is because he continued to drink Almond Milk when he knew it was bad for the environment. He nearly ruins a hypothetical engagement party because he has trouble making decisions (luckily his friend knows this and has spared him that duty). Chidi's the guy who has trouble ordering soup at a restaurant. Part of Chidi's trouble is outside of doing the morally right thing he does not know how to define what he likes when it most matters. When Ted Danson's character tortured him, it involved putting him into scenarios where he must decide.
