Things that are currently annoying you

Adblock Plus updated to make the extension approximately 4x less usable.

 

Ublock seems to be working pretty well for me. Though Firefox quantum is a lot less impressive than the new name implies...

 

Yeah, I'd recommend ublock anyway, ABP's point isn't blocking ads, it's making money out of advertisers paying them to let their ads go through.

 

The way Discord's been acting the past couple of days. Server outages and temporary inability to send messages to channels is not really great, and I wish I knew wtf was causing it.

(edited because I had an earlier thing, but realized it wasn't actually an annoyance so much as a confusion, and then forgot to revise what was left.)

 

I’ve ordered Christmas presents for all but 1 of my coworkers, and I can’t figure out what to give him. I’ve worked with him longer than some of the others and I don’t know anything about him except that he goes to the gym a lot. He wouldn’t even give me a general category to work with when I asked him what he wanted. Maybe I’ll find something good at the Christmas bazaar, men’s jewelry or something. :/

 

See, I don't personally have a problem with Adblock allowing non-intrusive ads through, because people on the internet need to make money and you do have the option to turn it off. I DO have a problem with Adblock taking away the tools I use the damn program for, and last I checked Ublock's UI was even more obfuscatory than Adblock Plus's is now and didn't give me those same tools.

I don't remember the name of it :F just that they were... kinda like bars? didn't get baked, just shoved in the fridge. and they had coconut oil, dates and almond butter in them among other things. oh, and they were vegan I'm pretty sure, since I tend to make vegan things for family events where my vegan aunt and uncle are coming.

So, I'm playing Pokemon Ultra Moon and am using the GTS to try to complete my Pokedex. Some pokemon need to be traded in order to evolve, so I'm putting them up for trade and requesting the same Pokemon in return, specifically saying "I want to complete my Pokedex" as the reason for the trade.

Someone traded me a Pokemon holding an everstone. Which prevents the Pokemon holding it from evolving.

Is it possible to remove the everstone?

 

Yeah, but it's too late to evolve it from that trade now. You'd have to take it and trade it again to evolve it.

Is alright, I got another trade from someone who isn’t a jerk, hmph.

It’s always a risk. Sadly you can’t specify held items on GTS trades. Just a little annoying.
