just double-checking - you can get strange chests from gathering every day of the festival, right? or is it just the first day?

 

nope, every day in every element!

i usually end up scavenging the entire time because it may also yield eggs.

 

are the eggs a rare drop in the strange chests? i feel like im getting more than i should be

 

that's hilarious cause i got 8 the first day, and none yesterday or today

 

huh i usually clock in at like two chests/day via gathering and the rest i brew or coli for.

They should be! however so should be the Smirch scrolls and i already got 3 of them.

 

I´ve gotten jackshit except familiars and some apparel so I think you´re just that lucky

 

I got an egg in a chest most likely from the Coliseum and only two familiars so far.

 

The really rare thing is the noc SCROLLS o: everyone can get a good handful of eggs with a minimal amount of diligence, but noc SCROLLS are quite rare to pop out of chests- I only got three last year, compared to like 20 eggs.

 

i finally started playing around with outfits

 

also i've gotten an embarrassing amount of chests from an embarrassing amount of coli grinding, and maybe about 10% of them have had smirch for me

 

yeah i just got another smirch out of a brewed chest. listen FR staff i don't need that many and at that rate they're not even valuable to sell.

 

speaking of noc scrolls, i have one that i dont want and will trade for chests just because i like lootboxes and the rng that comes with it

a noc scroll is roughly the same value (currently as im staring tirelessly at the AH) as 7 strange chests if anyone wants to take me up on that offer.

im up to 5 smirches, 4 eggs, and almost every seasonal familiar. no scrolls so far >:T some clothes but mostly doubles of things i already had. lots of familiar doubles. i am D E T E R M I N E D to get a scroll. also have produced several ugly children this week. the handsomest are

(boy) -- currently has underbelly but i'm planning to smirch him. again: 5 smirches. probably going to keep him! he is Charming. my lair will be overrun by noodles

i'm gonna exalt the ugly ducklings when i can level em but does anyone want either of the coatl babs?

Likewise 0_0 yesterday I got 3 and the day before SIX, and that was all fishing (albeit in varying elements) so idk what's up
