Pocket Camp!!! I heard of it.

Today I found out that you can go into the MyNintendo page in the menu under "More Options" to redeem points for some useful rewards; I think I had something like 480 points already earned just for things I've already done during gameplay. And the rewards include crafting materials, which is incredibly helpful, given that I'm always hovering at around 3 wood and -50 cotton at any given time. The point is I've been playing since launch and reading the gameplay guides as they come out and I'm still finding new things every day! (Dunno how long that'll last, but this is the kind of game that'll definitely have content updates, I'm assuming.)

My friend code's 4728 7075 888. I'm playing as one of my OCs, Sun, because his aesthetic taste is objectively better than my own. I'm gonna fill his campgrounds with soothing desaturated cool tones and wood and it'll be great.

I too have not played ACNL in fucking ever and I miss the hell out of my little town but also I feel SUPER GUILTY. there's no way i'm restarting, i'd give up entirely if i had to restart all my collections, but i'm gonna feel bad about all my villagers moving out and I definitely do not have the patience to timetravel enough to make it not happen. and i know i'll cycle through villagers and find another bunch i really like, but ... ugh. i haven't even played the update that happened ... a year ago? fuck. maybe i'll open up my DS today

because my visitors keep demanding more cherries than i can grow and i buy every random visitors cherries but its just not enough because almost no one sells them

 

I've got an extra cherry tree!! I've been slacking on harvesting those cherries lately, 'cause I didn't want to clog my inventory or market box with them, and once a while ago I put too many of the same fruit in my market box at once and it took me ages and ages to get all of those box slots back. But if I harvest them more regularly I should be able to keep at least one or two three-packs of cherries in my market box at most times.

(I also have an extra orange tree, by the way, and somehow I'm a lot worse at moderating my supply of those. Every time I get that pop-up telling me my inventory's full it's the oranges' fault. It confounds me.)

 



That'd be awesome. Also, the trees you have in Lost Lure Creek are random, I take from that? I've got an extra apple and orange tree there. It's the reason I have so many apples in my market box...

that being said, would there be interest in a complete spreadsheet? (things i might be able to finagle, but would take time to research: toggle for items you already have, categories, villagers, items that require certain times/materials...)

So I have finally gotten an SD card for my phone, which means I finally have enough space to download the game. I'm slowly grinding my way towards a camper that's decorated how I want it, but I'm still working on paying off my second loan from OK Motors and it's gonna be a while before I can either craft or afford different flooring or wallpaper.

it's working again, halleluja. there have been 16 different error messages and 2 days of "lolnope youre so not playing"
support is kind of unhelpful and uses a prewritten response that completely disregards any and all data you give them.

 

So a new update with 6 new villagers dropped.

It contains most currently craftable non-event items and all animals, although I need to find out what material Twiggy and Bob give.

The only craftable items it's missing are the special requests I haven't unlocked yet, and I will add those as I get to them. I have also enabled commenting so you can drop a comment if you have one I'm missing and I'll add it!

I use this kind of spreadsheet to keep track of what I still need to craft and what I need for that. Also I like to time my crafting so I don't finish a thing an hour after I went to sleep but rather have another item lined up that crafts while I'm sleeping, and this list makes it easier to find stuff that matches.

 

I updated the damn sheet (see post just above from a month and a half ago). It's complete and fully functional, even though it's not pretty (yet).
Furniture and Clothing have a locked/unlocked/crafted dropdown, amenities have a level dropdown.

Currently 67.3% done on lvl 80, will definitely hit 81 tomorrow. Harmonious T2 L5 will finish the day after that, and thanks to the fishing event I've got enough harmonious essence to immediately start building T3 L1.
(Percentage is how many of total villager XP you've gathered, considering higher levels need more XP.)
