Spoiler: ll13 Cycloooooonuuuuuuuuussssss. I'm pretty good at seeing through people's prickly exteriors and just not reacting. A lot of the time it's a ploy to keep others at a distance because they're resigned to the idea that everyone turns on them and leaves eventually, so it will be less painful if they can force it to happen sooner and in a manner that gives them a measure of control. But they can't actually force me to dislike them. If I don't respond to the bait I can often just ghost through all their defenses. And often that can be good for both of us. That's not something you just do for shits and giggles (I hope), it's something you do because you relate to the person and/or wish you related more because they're so extremely cool even if they don't seem to realize it. But holy hell, that puts you in a position to hurt the person exquisitely if you lash out because you let your own issues get the better of you. All of their deepest fears are confirmed and their defenses weren't enough to protect them, which means they may double down even harder (Prowl, is that you?) or it's all pointless and who the fuck even knows. You can't make them suffer any more than they could make you hate them, but you can sure as hell set up a situation you have no reason to expect they have the tools to cope with. Please please please be careful Whirl. You might actually have the perspective and the opportunity to offer something that could be healing for both of you. Or it could be deeply terrible. Or some combination. Should be interesting any way it plays out!
Spoiler: LL 13 The wiki made the point that it seems like the Decepticons rescued by the Necrobot have banded together and slaughtered the rescued Autobots, so, uh... ...maybe leaving a bunch of displaced people with no context for the end of the war to inform a desire for peace together unsupervised wasn't a great idea, Rodimus. Hell, it's decently likely they thought of it as a pre-emptive strike before the Autobots could do the same, especially if what they knew of the end of the war was that the Autobots won, so that the Autobots could expect to be picked up by allies but the Decepticons could expect... what? Did anyone explain what they could expect? Probably not. EDIT: I mean I'm not excusing it but I can see how it could have happened, especially if someone was deliberately stirring people up.
