Did you use sweetened or unsweetened almond milk? Because unsweetened is probably actually less sweet (or at least a lower sugar content) than dairy milk, and I've used it successfully as a sub in recipes before.
I didn't pay that much attention but I'm going to guess it was sweetened cause wow my past-a-roni was way too sweet
that just leaves more cow yogurt for the rest of us tho this is exactly how I feel about raw onions tbh
Raw onions are a war crime. I didn't understand why anyone would like them until my friend told me that no, they didn't feel their eyes water and burn whenever they were within the same building as cooking onions.
raw onions are evil but pickled pearl onions are divine and I will eat an entire jar by myself if nobody stops me.
i like raw onion. crunch n kinda spicy. i don't like cooked onion. it gets too mushy. it was the main reason i hated my fam's beef stew lmao. but. if it's small i can deal bc it's not nasty flavoured. just bad texture.
Yeah I can get bothered by cooked onion texture too, but it's gotten less bad so not if somethings got decent amounts of onion like a spaghetti sauce or the like I just try to eat the onion first to get it out of the way. I really like onion flavor though. Context to above comment is so far in my life I have never found a topping that I feel improves upon plain cheese pizza. Lately when ordering pizza I've been trying getting half of a topping i know I at least won't dislike the flavor of and seeing if I like it more than just cheese. So far nothing's worked (I think I've tried beef, chicken, and a few types of ham so far, already knowing that I despise pepperoni and find sausage unpleasant. All these toppings were nice but slightly distracted from the pizza flavor instead of adding anything for me)
onion is only ok when cooked in small pieces, but raw red onion in smallish pieces is okay in a VERY good quality greek salad onion and green pepper are absolutely awful on pizza, if you wanted to torture me in Hell you'd tie my hands behind my back so i couldn't pick them off and serve that for every meal i dont do much with non dairy unless I'm in the mood for rice milk. if i want the thicker, richer mouth feel of cow milk, i have some chocolate soy milk as a treat. soy and coconut ice creams are all fine to my taste buds. i haven't tried non-dairy yogurt and i REALLY don't want to try the cheese i haven't tried the yogurt because i am very picky with yogurts and don't like wasting them. i stopped being adventurous when i tried coffee yogurt WHY WHY DID I DO THAT why would someone MAKE that, and then decide, after tasting it, to SELL it???
i've never had it...........but now i want to............ vinegar is one of my favorite flavors, that sounds delicious
I had it on fish tacos for the first time a bit back, and honestly? Honestly. I have been missing out before then. It's so, so good and I love it so, so much.
i got a thing of coffee yogurt, it was alright. i like cappucino frozen yogurt so i figured it would be close enough. wasn't my fave though
