Boat Trolls planning thread! (full of spoilers, non-players enter at your own risk)

Christ i had a spectacularly gorey run of nightmares. Ill probably be conking back out again tho. Just wanted to whine about it and overwrite the memories, bleh. Doomed quests, murder games, and antichrist babies oh my. >:T

 

Perhaps it's Bel's turn to get chewed up and have to go limping around? Erskin would probably make fun of him. It could be cute.

ETA: it would also be cute for Bel to be all revved up on battle fervor, or whatever his equivalent is. tho i'm sure it's pretty different from Erskin's bouncy goofball reaction to an endorphin rush.

 

maybe he could bust a tine off his antlers and walk in very sad concussed circles for a bit

 

yes definitely! he'd be able to get medical treatment right away, and we can play around with wobbly painkillers bel if we want.

come to think of it, he might be really upset because if you get a horn shot off in combat that's pretty much it— good luck picking all the shards out of the blood and muck— but on a spaceship you'd be able to get it all pinned back together no problem.

i feel like bel is clever enough to curse someone out without dropping a single f-bomb, if he wanted

 

hmmmm what next? poor bel doesn't have any quadrants to come pick him up and take him home after he's slept it off and i think sal would not want to call the captain for obvious reasons. lainey is going to be fussing over arguus, who will probably need it after a night of being around other people and doing things while they watch him. erskin might go hang around and do stuff with murfey...?

 

okay, maybe twitch has been pressed into service as an assistant in medical, since what else are they going to do with her, and she can take care of waking bel up and getting him to drink water and stuff?

and then maybe erskin can go sulking off after murfey to cheer up with exotic drinks and smokes and possibly more flirting

 

it's funny how first you make up a character from nothing and then you feel weird when someone doesn't get their quirks right— the way i've been writing sal is he's very terse, he leaves out a lot of words except for also he doesn't employ many contractions, and it makes his sentences kind of choppy and weird. i don't know what his deal is about that, actually. but you can edit if you want to play around with it!
