Have you considered MST3K-ing to share your pain because that sounds like the kinda suffering best spread around a bit.
#8 came out July 26, #9 came out September 13, #10 came out October 18, #11 came out November 29, #12 came out December 27, and #13 came out January 24. So they've lost a month since #8.
(A few days late but) There's a Transformers Literature Fest going on this week! From the original post: I might try to put together a few fic recs (though I'm sad I missed angst day already @_@)
From @coldstars: and when I went to get into the car, he transformed back into himself and was like 'BLARGH IT'S ME' and then he stabbed me
Good news: I finally found Transformers physical copies at Barnes and Noble! Bad news: literally all they have is the first issue of OP and one of the ramen man standalones I want to support my robots in big name stores but why you gotta do me like this hasbro
I stayed up so late to finish this, but I did it!! The tumblr post is scheduled for a few hours from now, but. Instant gratification. And the filler I used to replace the plain white background worked out really well. The framing will be done before I move states, and it will be as bright and gorgeous as my two best children deserve :DDD Spoiler: large
Adventures in Beast Wars - So there's an episode where Megatron builds a clone of one of the good guys to infiltrate the Maximal base... There's two angry utah raptors running around and of course they fight. The clone gets beaten off screen, and the very last line of the episode, someone asks Dinobot what happened to the clone and he straight up admits to killing and eating him, it's presented as a funny zinger to close the show out... Cannibalism! (Or vore, is that vore?). Never thought it would come up in one of the cartoons. Just what transformers needed to spice up canon. Also, it's SORT OF implied that the predacons are angry, fighty and amoral because they were programmed to be that way. There are two predacon characters who started off as Maximal protoforms but were reprogrammed by Tarantulas to be Predacons. Free will and agency are hazy concepts in this show. One Maximal was captured and turned into a predacon for one episode, his personality changed drastically before he was returned to normal at the end.
You can always order it through the Barnes and noble store, I used to do that all the time with manga at Borders.
Dark Cybertron, because Dark Cybertron Spoiler: spoilers for dark cybertron because dark cybertron Prowl, you are so bad at defending yourself. Ultra Magnus has a really good point here. And Overlord seems to have been a thoroughly terrible idea. If Prowl had a more deeper sekrit reason for wanting Overlord on board the Lost Light I don't know of it. But Prowl wasn't wrong about Tyrest. Tyrest nearly genocided him to death! And it's not like Skids and Getaway didn't know what they were doing, at least prior to the nudge gun firing. And the mindrape point, which he decides to abandon in favor of attempting to pull rank. No wonder Prowl wanted Kup to speak for him. (Which again was pretty awful. But I don't think Ultra Magnus necessarily knows about that. He wasn't in Vegas.) He is not doing very good at this arguing thing.
Spoiler: LL SÇÄVĒŃGÉRS IS CANON... I burst out laughing...there are just. No words for how funny I find the concept of them having both emergency and non emergency huddles XD
Spoiler: LL14 Oh, duh. Of course it's Scorponok. Bizarre, body-horror type experiments on Cybertronians? It's either Bludgeon or Scorponok, and we know what Bludgeon's been up to. Also, finally some context for the Magnificence, I guess.
