  1. You don’t dip fried chicken in sauce, guys. Fried chicken doesn’t need sauce.

Counter argument: chicken nuggets and tenders are fried chicken and I'd argue they need sauce because they don't have the bone to keep them from getting too dry.

Honey is also acceptable for tenders/nugs, but usually I just eat em plain

    Bone-in shouldn't need a sauce tho

Yeah I just can't think of a single sauce that actually improves bone-in for me :P

Fried chicken does not need a sauce. Gluten-free fried chicken is often amazing.

Chicken nuggets require a mixture of thick real blue cheese dressing (Trader Joe's, the one on the cold shelf, or Big Boy, or Marie's) and Crystal hot sauce, OR something like a raspberry chipotle salsa/hot sauce/corn-syrup free ketchup mix, or honey mustard, but I can't imagine putting something as purely sweet as maple syrup on them, because I'm only okay with sweet+meat when it's chicken and when it's a fruity sweet.

That said, Trader Joe's gluten-free chicken nuggets are okay without sauce because they start out raw and you have to cook them all the way through, so when I microwave them for five minutes they're pretty juicy. I suspect it's being frozen after cooking that dries out chicken nuggets moreso than the lack of boneage.

Well, also a lot of chicken nuggets aren't marinated and bone in fried chicken is (or should be, I'm picky and refuse to eat non-buttermilk fried chicken), so that also makes a difference.

  10. I don’t consider chicken nuggets to be “fried chicken” because they got no bones. Sauce is acceptable on nuggets, but even good nuggets don’t really need it.

Some of the sauces you guys use, though... they make me worry.

Barbecue sauce goes on basically everything meaty. I dig fried chicken sans the sauce too, but a good barbecue sauce can be applied freely and with vigor.

i like bone-in fried chicken by itself or with white gravy, that’s the good stuff

chicken nuggets or tenders, i like honey mustard and bbq, but regular yellow mustard’ll do in a pinch

It doesn't need it, but my local place offers ranch with the potato wedges that you can get with the chicken, so i just dip whatever i feel like while eating

I hate most bbq sauces, they're way too sweet.

  17. The grocery stores in my area are now selling brand-name “French style” yogurt, and I like it a lot. Who else thinks it’s better than regular yogurt?

I've never seen "French style" yogurt before. Greek, Icelandic, and Balkan yogurt, all of which tend to be thicker and less sweet than regular yogurt, but never French. How does it compare?

Controversial opinion: Greek yogurt makes an excellent sour cream alternative.

I've never heard of French style, is it like Greek yogurt? If so, I'd probably love it
