i jumped in on the 2012-2018 drawing meme bc i don't think i exist in photographs aside from a few cosplay pics for... most of the last 10 years, oops, i am a cryptid. but ayyyy, 6 years of art differences, not bad not bad. glad i did this one for a redo, i remember being super duper proud of this one for ages for some reason. this was back before i got my cintiq, too.

The 2012 one is good, I can see why you were proud of it. The new one has cleaner lines and better anatomy, but the pose/angle in the 2012 version seems really good to me, the colours are striking, and his expression is ... intense, or something? Anyway, I like it. Love the way you did the ripped part of his cape in the 2018 version, by the way - it looks super cool.

 

yeah. i tried to make the 2018 one have more motion and like.. be walking but its like while drawing i suddenly forgot how the fuck to torso. but for a 4am one sit rush job i'm proud.
