I got a notification while attempting to connect to the site a little while ago about Kintsugi being an untrusted website because its security credentials had expired as of something like twenty minutes ago. I wish I'd screenshotted it, but on reading the details I just told it to go ahead and patch me through since I figured it was a momentary hiccup of some sort. Figured I'd put this up and ping @seebs about it, even though it's probably well in hand.
Yeah i have the same problem, didn't screenshot it either tho, mostly bc the thing would be in german ........ AND NOW IT WON'T LET ME POST SO THAT'S FUN.
Yeah, Let's Encrypt certificates expire after three months IIRC. Though I think there's a way to automatically renew them?
yeah, you can set up a cron job for it although i think nowadays certbot automatically adds the job when you install it?
I'm not using certbot. Anyway, yes, I had the script running, but I forgot to create a directory, so it looked fine until it needed to renew, by which time I'd seen the weekly job saying it was running often enough that I wasn't reading closely.
