That there is the favicon file that should be linked from every page. There doesn't seem to be anything obviously wrong with the template from a brief survey of the source code of various forum pages. If you can see the favicon image embedded and/or linked but it's still not displaying correctly as a favicon, that's... interesting.
look at how it changed from when i didn't have my cursor in the bar to when it did Spoiler: favicon off/on
Hmmm, the one thing I do notice: Code: <link rel="apple-touch-icon" href="https://kintsugi.seebs.net/styles/default/xenforo/logo.og.png" /> <link rel="icon" href="http://kintsugi.seebs.net/favicon.ico"> <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS feed for Kintsugi" href="forums/-/index.rss" /> The favicon link is not explicitly closed. I don't know that this is the problem, as I don't have enough knowledge about html/xml/xhtml to judge whether this particular document has been defined in a way that would cause super strict validation rules that could potentially cause the tag to be considered invalid? ETA: This is how the code from my post rendered: Code: <img src="https://kintsugi.seebs.net/favicon.ico" class="bbCodeImage LbImage" alt="[IMG]" data-url="https://kintsugi.seebs.net/favicon.ico" /><br /> <br /> <a href="https://kintsugi.seebs.net/favicon.ico" class="internalLink">https://kintsugi.seebs.net/favicon.ico</a><br /> <br /> Do you see this? Note: favicon embedded link, the first one, is explicitly closed (ends with a forward slash). (Non-embedded link, the "a href" one, closes when "a" is closed. It's not a void element, so it gets a separate end tag instead of a forward slash at the end of the opening tag.)
I have two tabs of kintsu open on my tablet and they have different favicons :') one is the normal brown-and-gold K, the other is a blue box with some whitish squiggle in the middle that I assume is the xenforo favi.
Yeah, it is. I get that favicon if I try to bookmark a Kintsugi page other than the alert page (which is the one it's randomly given a Tumblr icon to) on Firefox.
I always have the XenForo favicon on mobile. On my laptop, the Kintsugi favicon is there, but I think on my desktop computer it's not.
I think it's just an updated chrome issue? Oh, but some of you are using Firefox and it's been a problem... Idk then lol
I'm still blank on the icons, but I've gotten used to it by now. Kintsugi is the Blank Page compared to everything else.
Oddly enough it just finally vanished for me the past few days on desktop chrome. It appears briefly while the page loads then becomes blank page when the loading completes. I’m not particularly bothered by it. I know what the tab is going to be from relative position if nothing else.
for the last week or two, i haven't seen the favicon on Chrome at all. seems to be fine on Firefox though! (on a mac) ... weirdly Firefox says this site is not secure, while Chrome says it is? but that might be because i usually use Chrome, while i only use Firefox if Chrome isn't working so it probably needs to be updated.
Seems like it. There was a "Download insecure content" warning which I just tried clicking, and now it displays the favicon but the site shows as not secure.
Bug request: when I put tags on thread titles I would like to be able to type them in all caps and have them stay all caps. “religious discourse i am fucking serious” is absolutely not the same thing as “RELIGIOUS DISCOURSE I AM FUCKING SERIOUS”. One accurately conveys my dread sincerity and melodramatic intensity, the other looks somewhat chagrined or insincere and is not, I feel, ENOUGH warning. Italics may also suffice. I am outright displeased at being forced to undersell my absolutely Faustian obsessive nature.
Linky? I'm not sure I understand what you're doing, and I don't see a thing labeled either variant of that. I know the software has some automatic de-capsing, which I think is sort of annoying, but I'm not sure we can actually turn it off.
