And more importantly: did it get out again? :(

 

No worries! It's hard to see because the box is clear, but there's very obviously tabs up top--it unfolds open, and that's probably how kitty got in in the first place. Owner just shut the tabs for a photoshoot (because there's obviously holes for it to breathe through) and probably released them as soon as they had the internet fodder.

 

I'm sorry to introduce any anxiety to what is meant to be a lighthearted and soothing thread! I definitely think that @KingStarscream is right - Kitty can escape through the top.

 

No worries @Saro, the anxiety was very very mild :)

I'm just imagining this cat like "OOOHHH, I get it, the human is a vegetarian! That's why they don't eat the disemboweled mice I bring them!"

@LadyNighteyes I did some digging and found this article, and apparently the mice she was bringing home were alive and mostly well (if traumatized).

 

Museum will place ur cat under protection of Bastet, also you can look at names of kitties who are protecc and see some cute names
