Days with awesome weather are great for lounging around outdoor pools (even if it does mean you'll have to drive 3o minutes before you get there and then pay 4 euros admission :P)

 

Darn, Im in Berlin.

 

Right now my favourite North American songbird is the Warbling Vireo. It has literally no notable characteristics. Its the mathematical average of songbirds. Its a vague brownish-grey all over, the colour of a paper left out in the rain. No stripes or spots, its underside isn't even white, just a slightly paler shade of drab. Song - bird noises. Range - yes. This bird is a form letter and someone forgot to fill out the blanks.

There's an estimated 50 million of these dudes and most of the population has no idea they exist.

We were just pawing thru a big ole pile of amethyst of various sizes. It made weird noises when you walked on it
