There’s a small art supply store in town now. Since I was told to come into work an hour later than normal I went and checked it out. It’s a cute little place.

Is there a site that also has animals/plants/buildings? I can find a bunch of figure drawing sites but if I want to know how something else looks I have to google it. I just want to find a site with categories.

Caught one prepping me for a nest.
Caught one ready to drop on my head from above the bed.
Just right this minute thought my vision was getting blurry while I was reading and when I adjusted my focus some manner of orbweaver (pretty; possibly a leopard spider) dangling casually not even a half centimetre off my nose - who then proceeded to run all over my hands and arms and drape me in metres of silken web while I tried to wrangle it to the front door without the cat taking interest.

I reiterate: not a spide nest. Not a spide waystation. Definitely not a spide bus. Just what the hell, why am I suddenly Local Arachnids' favourite thing, these things need an ASBO or summat.

I think my favorite thing about game grumps 10 minute power hour is the extra sound effects whenever something gets thrown.

 

We ended up with something that looks like a curling iron, but the clamp that holds the hair is really bizarrely short. Anyone have any idea what this is?

 

It could be a marcel iron.

If it is, please be super careful with it, they get much hotter than the regular kind, although the curls they make last longer.

 

I just discovered that Margaret Atwood wrote a superhero comic about a man who turns into a cat/owl furry and I don't know what the correct emotional response is.

 

Back to the earlier subject of missing videos, does anyone know if ChefPyro’s videos are mirrored/reposted anywhere? They were some of my fave mashups but all his videos disappeared. :(

 

They have a tumblr, I would start there either to ask them or check if they got uploaded.
