Probably not as painful for you, yeah; for me it's genuinely unpleasant for anything more carbonated than an icee. it does seem to be something fading a bit with exposure now that I sometimes force my way through a bubbly alcohol.
I try not to drink full sugar sodas, but sometimes I just really need a regular coke. Also I love Jones soda.
Sometimes I like drinking vanilla coke with milk. I actually prefer my soda a bit watery-ier so I'll ice cube it and wait a bit, such a density of sweetness. Strangely one of the things I have the hardest time eating is fruit. Almost all fruit is so sweet for me to eat. I don't know, something about fruit is so sweet and tart and overwhelming all at once. I mentioned this once before but I got the response 'thats objectively not true artificial sugar is worse' but it's a personal taste... I want to be able to enjoy fruit more, since it's good for me. Don't know if it's possible though.
Depends on if you feel like chicharrones and pork rinds fall in the same category. If yes, then i love them, best snack only behind bugles and rice crispy treats (also yes, the cronch is very important)
Well, i grew up thinking chicharrones were something you made at home by frying leftover pork skin. Not until recntly did i see chicharrones in the chip aisle at some store, and realized pork rinds and chicharrones are basically the same thing
I’ve never had homemade ones, but I’m assuming they’re superior (similar to how homemade potato chips are superior).
I have just managed to horrify my sister by eating raw mushrooms. I wasn’t prepared for such a visceral reaction, and am curious to where all of you side on the issue.
I guess I’m the other way round to most people? Cooked mushrooms have the Bad texture, raw ones are really satisfying
I can eat sliced raw mushrooms on salad, though they blatantly taste better cooked. Unfortuantely, someone told all the people who make party vegetable platters that whole uncooked mushrooms are totally a good fingerfood.
