I got a chance to look back and see how I've definitely improved in some places. I'm definitely not all the way there, still have a lot of work to do, but as so far I wasn't sure if I'd gotten better at all, it was reassuring.
I got new socks yesterday and I love them. They have Bigfoot on them and say Don't Sass The Sasquatch
I added the ticket stub from my first-ever TMBG show to the frame that also holds my signed Join Us vinyl and the guitar pick Flans dropped at the aforementioned first show--got a lil shrine going at this point, haha!
Y'all my girlfriend is so fucking pretty and this both makes me happy in and of itself but also because I can say she's my girlfriend but also because that means I get to spend even more time appreciating it what a treasure
I saw a rainbow while walking home from work today!! also a co-worker just randomly gave me a block of good quality white chocolate for free...time to make a Delicious Dessert
local pan-asian food supplies store had fresh dumplings today! finally some Good Fucking Food!! (also yesterday at a festival i saw a woman walking three small fluffy potato-shaped dogs)
I ordered some super cute shorts (here they are!) and, between a flash sale and me having a $5 reward and being part of the loyalty club, I got them for a grand total of thirteen bucks including shipping! (For reference: the normal price is $35, so...this is a damn good deal.)
the discovery that maybe I can do library studies in the city I live in. previously everybody said it was only in the city a hundred miles away. I'm gonna ask my library boss tomorrow about it. I mean, it's probably more boring to study than art school, but working in the library, that I do love A Lot, so I reckon it would be hella worth it.
I found a whole bunch of really specific writing prompts made for whump and h/c fic!!! these will be Very Useful to me.........
I'm a bunch of rows into knitting a shawl out of lilac-ish alpaca yarn and a dark purple-pink lovely wool :3 I'm doing stripes and it reminds me of blueberry/blackberry with like, blueberry icecream in between. And very soft yarn! prrrrr.
Both the SU livebloggers I follow who have gotten up to A Single Pale Rose loved it!! As someone who also adores it, and who was saddened to hear that a lot of the YouTube critics apparently hated it, this makes me very happy. :D
