Peridot's adorable dress! kiss on the mouth, holy shit thank you so much crewniverse. Garnet's tuxdress is everything. Diamond wedding crashers! RETURN OF THE CLUSTER! NOW FEATURING ARMWRESTLING! seriously l i love that the Cluster is a fucking Crystal Gem too, this show puts its fucking money where it's mouth is re: inclusiveness. i have never given Bismuth/Peridot even one second of thought before this moment but i ship it immediately. Lapis is more depressed by breakfast than you are all day, Blue. Steven being an actual bard. diplomatic victory! damn Steven great job! my pathfinder character with +44 diplomacy would be proud. for real though, i did think that Steven would try and find a diplomatic solution with the Diamonds-- but i didn't expect his approach to be "we're family." damn, that's good. ...after 5 years of building them up as this terrifying threat, now i just want s6 to be the Diamonds trying to teach Steven to be an intergalactic ruler.
Spoiler: Reunited AAAAAAAAAAAA what a good episode! I wonder if after losing, mourning and "regaining" Pink Diamond, the diamonds will be more open to Pink's original message. They've felt the loss that war creates now and even though Steven is Pink, they're not getting back their original Pink. I don't think they'd felt loss or consequences of their wars before Pink's "shattering", it might have changed things. also underrated moment: Greg planning to seduce Blue Diamond.
Spoiler: reunited questions, now that I'm done yelling AAAAAAAAAAA okay I wasn't entirely done yelling. Anyway, now that Blue and Yellow know that Steven's Pink...are they gonna recognize Pearl? (For that matter, have they recognized Pearl previously? Did they think, this entire time, "Poor Pink, her own Pearl betrayed her to join the Crystal Gems?" I feel like this must have been addressed before, and I just don't remember, but.) 'Cuz I was thinking...someone needs to fill Blue and Yellow in on everything in the immediate future, and now that Pearl's had her ban lifted, it's probably her who's gotta do it, right? Do you think they brought their own Pearls with them on this Earth visit................I want to see what Blue and Yellow Pearl make of all this. (...Also, that battle scene was...so satisfying. Someone explain to me why it makes my lizard brain so happy to see the entire cast of a thing I like whaling on one big final-boss-type enemy.)
(kicks down thread door) Mom, Holy Fuck!! Spoiler Oh my god there's so much to talk about, so much has happened. Steven sang a song about running away from his feelings and the "Rose was Pink" situation. Amethyst wore a tuxedo (open, of course). Bismuth wore a suit of armor to the wedding, and actually cried. Peridot "deployed" the flowers. The kiss! The fusion! The reception! And then the Diamonds show up and forcibly awaken the cluster, which fucking fights back! All the Crystal Gems versus Blue Diamond, and actually holding their own while the cluster literally arm wrestles with Yellow's ship! Peridot being the littlest sack of chutzpah I've ever seen! Lapis coming back from the moon and dropping the fucking barn on Blue Diamond! Then, two diamonds at once are too much for the Crystal Gems. Steven is out. But then his weird mental powers kick in and he encourages his friends! And stops the Diamonds from fighting! Holy shit!!!
Spoiler: about the song I don't think it was a "running away from your feelings" song, tbh. It was more a "it's okay to stop worrying about everything and just allow yourself to have a day where you only think about happy things. Today, just think of good things; worrying can come tomorrow." There's a difference between running away from your feelings and having one day where you tell yourself "I'll worry about it tomorrow. Right now I want to allow myself to have a good time."

FUCK ME I HATE CLIFFHANGERS WITH HIATUS WHEN DOES IT KICK UP AGAIN Spoiler: Diamonds The look on YD's face, though. I don't think we've ever seen her so raw, so exposed...(unintentional pun because exposed wires zap you ^^;;;) It's so much easier to think of Blue as the one who took it harder, because she literally wears her emotions on her voluminous sleeves and likes to spread them around because when you're in pain its easy to want to make everyone else hurt, too... But. Yellow. I know people like her, who shut down and bottle their feelings because they're 'not constructive' or 'they have better things to do than wallow'. But it cracks you inside, and I'm just strangely happy that she might be able to get some closure as well, to heal... I know too many folk like her that bottle until they break, and even diamonds can be shattered IRL... BUT THE TEASER FOR THE NEXT EPS!! CENTI MIGHT FINALLY BE FIXED AGAIN!!! :D :D :D I guess she's the best candidate because she was a homeworld gem who got caught in the crossfire? Also she's green in a potentially military position so she might be one of Yellow's?
