I am living, I think there's two tieflings there. And idk what that on the far right is, but I'm like 90% sure that's not a human or elf. I almost think three casters, to the right of the tall figure.
I'm soo hoping for a tiefling warlock for Taliesin, but he'd probably consider that too cliché ._.

I haven't seen the episode yet but apparently! Back in the home game Pike died once and they were able to get an NPC cleric to help them perform the rite!

And Matt is more strict about things than Griffin but I don't think he'd kill off Molly for good this early on without giving them a chance to ressurect him, not if Taliesin still wanted to be Molly.

But, I gotta say, I'm reassured that it was Molly. There's already a precedent for him being killed but not permanently dying, right? What happens if the same thing happens as back in that ritual - the body wakes up a little later, without memory of previous life?

The way they sounded, I think Molly will be put to rest permantly, which...surprisingly, after TM I'm okay with. I honestly feel like I attended Molly's wake/funeral, that was was serious closure. but everyone breaking down into tears at the end was the last straw for me lol, I'd managed to hold it together until that point. But ughh, the FEELS for these guys, they really are a family.
TLDR; it was a good, good TM episode you guys

I don't watch TM much, so ouch. Probably should. I was hoping for NPC help or mysterious Molly shenanigans, but... oh well. They did say this campaign was gonna be harsher. Still, let's see what tomorrow brings.
I am still holding out for the fanfic where Molly's soul gets stuck in the dodecahedron so they have a mysterious artifact that also contain a pissed off purple tiefling.
I love all of them M9 but I love Molly the most, ugh, why Molly, why did the rolls of chance land there

Ok but goddamn on ALL of this past episode THE FUCKING STUN, also wow clay is actually really cool and i think im going to like him just as much as molly and lol keg "im so imperceptive i didnt realize my boss was a literal demon" plus i cant wait to see how badly yasha takes to the news about molly

I'm still holding out hope that either Clay's powers or Molly's just-coming-back-to-life-for-no-reason ability will save him. He doesn't even have to be a main party member! He can go off and do other stuff! Just let my boy live!

Because I'm the kind of nerd that does this, I looked up the grave domain which is what Clay has as his subclass. It very specifically states that they Do Not bring people back from the dead and that dead is dead. Though he can save someone teetering on the verge (he gets revivify). I have a feeling that Matt told Taliesen "you can play a cleric if you want but you can NOT bring molly back with your cleric" and the grave domain just happened to be right there and a perfect reasoning why in addition to being WILD in terms of a defensive/support class as we saw with spare the dying becoming a bonus action for him. I was a little thinking there might be shenanigans with molly? But also remember that he supposedly had this entire ritual set up in his backstory. (For a while I've been thinking he was almost a lich? but *shrug*)

Actually, Revivify has an expensive material component (a diamond worth 300 gold pieces, which the spell consumes) which Jester never had a chance to purchase - there was nothing she could have done, even if she was there. (Which is itself something Jester would take really hard, because she didn't realize the spell needed that until they had left Zidash, where she might have been able to find one.)

I'm just getting caught up and holy shit, Caduceus outright says he's only going to be with the party for one mission.

And I like him and all but there were just so many loose ends with Molly.
