They are! But needing to choose between them. I couldn't have both at the same time. ...Unless I devote two teams to them, and switch back and forth. Heh.
I just started yesterday because of the godfest and I now have some cool gods. Also a cyber dragon. This is awesome.
I cannot wait until Friday, because I finally figured out a strategy that should allow me to get a Dub-Mythlit and finally evo my Cao Cao! Man, evolving my critters is just so satisfying for me. The critter I'm really jonesing to use, though, is my Okuninushi! He has a giant floating cushion. I love it.
are you having trouble with masks and mythlits? bring monsters with double aspects, bring a delayer just in case, and a poisoner or someone with solar lazer for the last level. the batman collab going on rn has a poisoner AND a guy with solar lazer that are super easy drops, if you don't have any. if you still can't take a hit, get a green odin friendeader, then a single hit won't hurt much; focus on burning down one of any pair of enemies that goes on the same turn. it's super farmable once you've got your team set up, even if you're fairly low level.
I think the key is gonna be my strawberry dragon (double HP and RCV for fire type.) I guess I decided at some time in the past that I was gonna use only Light teams for all-color dungeons? That was silly. One of my friends has a green Odin. Delayers I can definitely do. (Why is Wee Jas a guy in this game?) Good point about enemies who attack on the same turn! For a while now I've been strictly trying to make sure all my teams were as color-matched as possible. Looks like I've hit the wall on that one; time to start using deeper strategies :D
color doesn't matter for masks and mythlits, since you can only do one point per hit anyway. so go with a utility lineup.

Oh my fucking god. Some of these technical dungeons. "There are none of this orb, but all your cards must be that color!" I do not have many orbchangers yet, so I'm relying on doubles. I managed to get through the wood one, but I just do not have enough blue doubles yet. -_-
Oh man I am so freaking excited. I just beat a 50 stamina dungeon and got a God drop. 8D Takaoka City Collab - Tricolor, being a Tricolor dungeon, was doable with my weekend team. Nut, 3 of the two-color ogres (with their skill awakening thing), and the red sorceress Laila with her double attack. I borrowed a friend's red/green Set... So every time I matched at least 1 of each color and heal, and some fifth combo, I was doing 10.50x the damage. >8D Just barely managed to get through the highest level of it. Like, he attacked me one time, and brought me down to about 800/13,000 health. Just look at this cutey. Leader skill restores 3x RCV after "every orbs elimination," which means basically every turn. And evolves into a green/white! Only problem is the low attack, which isn't a problem at all against enemies with stupid high defenses.
that was such a fun dungeon! i did it with double dqxq, so i was getting 16x damage for a 4 combo. i only try that on tricolors because i am kind of terrible at combos lol. but in this case it wasn't too hard. and i got chibi buddha too. :D then, since i earned my 'buy arcade tokens' reward on habitica, i spent some money on gems and blew them all on the DC universe egg machine. i got superman, wonder woman, the flash, batwoman & batgirl, aquaman, and SUPERGIRL <3 <3 <3 which is the card i really wanted. i need to expand my card box again. i'm such a hoarder. :P
At last, I have done it! Spent 1 magic stone because I screwed up in level 8, but got it back for completing the set.
@swirlingflight , you use the blue dragon fruit too! I've got a sweet combo with that and Elemental of Kind Waters, Undine! She's the leader of my Water team. (I evolved her from a baby Undine all by myself!) Turn all the orbs to Water and Dark, and then enhance all those Water orbs! It saved my ass when I was working on the evolved Harley and Ivy in the DC collab. I didn't beat the dungeon, but I did finally take down Harley and Ivy. (oh my god they're so tough how do I strategy)
Heck yeah! I love those dragon fruit. They let me put in my high cost shinies, but still have 2 colors with mediocre damage represented---and sometimes that orb change skill is a lifesaver. Whoa dang she's pretty :o I have a sylph I haven't used in a while, but no undines yet.
Did they just nerf the dragon fruit? The skill now just makes 3 random orbs of specific colours... I'm really hoping this is not a permanent switch. I'm going to need to find a new lineup if it is. :(
