I actually played for the first time today in multiplayer and used discord's voice chat the whole time it was fantastic featured such highlights as me not knowing how the controls worked and running around holding parsnip seeds excitedly for a while before i figured out how to put them down, my friend deciding to prank me by filling my cabin with chests, me digging holes everywhere, and my friend trying to give me trash which I refused...and then trying to give me a soggy newspaper which I accepted because I thought it might have lore and she proceeded to be in utter disbelief that I actually accepted the soggy newspaper. it was basically 2 hours of hilarity i fully reccomend playing stardew valley on multiplayer w/ voice chat
has anyone here used the stardew valley farm planner and can anyone tell me if there's a way to stop it from deselecting your brush after you place one item? I really don't want to have to drag and drop all my furnaces and mayonnaise machines and everything one by one.
more of the multiplayer hilarity: i kept accidentally interrupting cutscenes. like. i'd just be running around...in my friend's cutscenes...usually going "Where's the blacksmith?" in voice chat. ETA: also now we're pranking freind number 2 who cannot play for a While. there is like a hundred sap in his room.
my favorite multiplayer story is that one time my friend was in a cutscene -- the one where Linus is rooting around in a trash can and George is angry about it -- and during that cutscene, i ran past and checked EVERY TRASH CAN in the area, turning the cutscene into utter ridiculousness
Well I just married Leah but multiplayer update is here so time for a new save file I guess Farewell, my beautiful and talented artist waifu, we shall meet again in another life (unless I decide to marry Elliot this time)
Nothing in the update *needs* a new savefile, really. You can use existing single player files in a co-op game.

THATS AMAZING when I first heard there were dinosaurs in this game I hoped they would be BIG dinosaurs that live in the barn but this is also excellent now all I need is a mod to make the horse into a dinosaur
i dunno about a dinosaur but you can have an altaria for a horse! ETA: there's also a very unrealistic jurassic-park style 'velociraptor', am currently looking for other dinosaur-type horse replacements

I caved and bought Stardew Valley last night also, fuck the fishing minigame and that you need it for plot progression
