Athol Magarac I prefer reading posts without a lot of topics.

Eff fan-shipping in general. Eff canonships too, but that's a different boat of fish.

No one should be in any relationships ever and all interaction should be loveless. This is the only way to achieve true perfection.

Okay I'm so sorry but all I could think of was the council of Dick Elders:

I own that Funko partly because it is possibly the LEAST cursed piece of Pearl merch out there imo.

    This is saying very little.

  8. Charlie

Charlie I got no strings to hold me down

I have seen arguments about the diamonds being incestuous...
I'd argue it's possible with Pink, because they really do push a parent-child role (or big sister-little sister, some sort of authoritative role there) with Pink and the others, but Yellow and Blue ... honestly... seem to have uh, affectionate kind of gay 'we're wives and this is our kid' stuff going on in canon. I guess I can understand people interpreting it as sisterly, but I interpret it pretty gay.

Also I interpreted Blue and Yellow as sisters for some...reason. Not sure why. Not that that'd stop my ass from shipping it because I am a degenerate fuck.

That's pretty much my read of it too. I don't see Blue and Yellow's relationship as familial at all, and I definitely get Gay Vibes from it, but they do seem very parental towards Pink, albeit not in a way that would make a romantic relationship between them Actually Incestuous because they're magic space rocks who do not reproduce sexually or have family structures. YellowPink or BluePink would be like...kinda like shipping Steven with one of the OG Crystal Gems, for lack of a better example. Not technically incest, but it would kinda feel that way.

Either read is valid though, imo.
    Also, this.

I think part of the reason why Blue and Yellow come as sisterly OR wiferly (shhh that's a word now because I said so) is that pretty every thing about them is presented as separate but equal. They're roughly the same size, their diamonds are level with each other in the Great Diamond Authority insignia, they're presented as having roughly equivalent forces albeit in separate spheres of the Gem government. While there IS a clear hierarchy in power (and quite probably age) from White to Pink, Yellow and Blue are both roughly in the middle, and as equals the terms of their relationship are roughly theirs to establish. Taken with the fact that Gems really don't have DNA or established family structure, I think their relationship could be seen as borrowing elements from both romantic and familial! But antis are pretty much always wrong.

Now, let's consider: White/Yellow and/or Blue? Kinky, or horrifying? *chinhands*

Side note since I actually haven't seen anyone touch on this: White Pearl looks like an escapee from the OLD black and white cartoons, like Betty Boop or something.

She'd fit in almost perfectly, and that's awesome!

I'm a little confused on what fusion really is. Pearl was able to keep secrets from Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl were working at cross-purposes when they took the megafusion to dinner, that one fusion between Garnet and Amethyst is dangerous because of a wild personality.

I read them as being Pink's older sisters with White as the mom. I got sort of a vibe of... eventually Pink could be on the same level as them but right now she isn't? From the flashbacks and interactions, and a sort of feeling that Pink was annoying to Yellow in a little-sister kind of way where she does weird stuff and gets bratty sometimes but you still gotta look out for her... or something like that?
