the annual night of tribute for pride week, featuring choir performances and poetry which all made me cry

 

An insurance company took out a full page color ad in the Chicago Tribune to print a rainbow flag for pride month. I’m just so happy that I’m here to see this become so much of a thing that it’s a valid marketing strategy. Sometimes I worry I’ll wake up, and then I’m even happier because I’m awake and it’s still happening.

 

I found out my younger brother is moving out on Friday. I was only told this a few hours ago and really i shouldnt be crying about him moving literally two friggen blocks away but hes leaving and growing up and learning to be a responsible adult and I cant help but be kinda overwhelmed YnY

then i listened to the rest of the album about 3 times while driving around the countryside (its a surprisingly short album) and had More Crying

All that crying and thinking about bein' sad reminded me of yhat old favourite, Brontë by Gotye, which also prompted More Tears

Its raining really badly and peoples decorations are fucked and its supposed to go all night so the kiddos around here arent gonna be able to get any candy Y_Y

 

i was singing for one of my partners and he started crying because he was happy and then that made me start crying and then he started singing Our Song and that made me start crying more and it's two hours later and im still kind of weepy
