Heck yes, love me some meat. Love me some bread as well, and baking in general, but I got hit with a sudden blow of spouse now unable to handle gluten. My favorite meat to cook with is chicken. I miss my breadmaker deeply. I never baked a single loaf in it but it made very good dough and surprisingly amazing jam. I like rye flour. My fallback seasoning is a mix I made myself. One part Lawry's to one part cayenne and one part bitter orange Adobo. As far as gluten free recipes go, I will have to dig up my fried rice recipes and a few others. Rice is a thing I work with a lot.
Rice is love. Rice is life. We don't have a microwave and even with the converter box Italy is really finnicky about what electronics it wont eat right away. Has led to a lot of lovely versions of rice and seasonings, meats, or veggies cooking in the pot with them while it steams up. Favorite so far is some leek or green onion, thai fish sauce, garlic and canned tuna mixed with the water. Once it boils, add the rice and gently mix, then do the normal steam time/temp and.. Oh man. Ohhhh mannnnn.
Oh my goodness, that sounds wonderful! I'd add in a few cups of fish broth when it' all done and make it a soup for a winter meal. Add some carrot to it. Perhaps a little lemon juice? Hmmm. I know you didn't ask my opinion, but I really love talking shop about food.
Oh no, by all means, feel free. That'd be really tasty! Though I'd probably attack lime juice over lemon juice, personal preference. ... Maybe a hit of ginger juice if daring.
