Also, dumb hypothetical, but Imagine the fallout if chromedome thought Prowl was dead and erased him but then Prowl wasn't. EDIT: I just bring this up bc as far as we know Chromedome's forgotten all of his past partners except Prowl, and ofc he broke up with Prowl, it's not that Prowl died, but what if way earlier in the war he thought Prowl had, when it was still raw and fresh, or when he was still off-balance from something else?

I think that would be like. the worst thing ever to Prowl. Mooning over Chromedome when Chromedome's moved on and is with someone else hurts, but at least then he can talk to Chromedome, and pretend things are fine. At least Chromedome recognizes him. To have Chromedome look at him and see nothing, I think that'd be worse, and I think it'd also crack open just how hanging by his fingertips Chromedome is to Prowl. EDIT: Like, did Prowl know how poorly CD was doing before he met Rewind? I have to think Prowl suspected, because he's not an idiot, but if he was avoiding CD, or CD was avoiding him, it'd be so easy for Prowl not to realize how much of a wreck CD is under the surface.

Still rereading MTMTE, on #2, and I found something that's absolutely foreshadowing where we're at now in LL 23. Spoiler: Spoilers by way of foreshadowing? Is it just me? Am I reading too much into this?

On an entirely different topic Spoiler: but still LL 22/23 spoilers, also just LL in general I can't words enough to do it justice, but there's probably something to be said about how Functionist Universe!Rung sort of got turned into a figurehead as The Useless One regardless of what he actually wanted to do with his life, and the whole....... Primal state religion thing as it developed on both Cybertrons. And a different thing to be said about FU!Rung/Primus PUNCHING A MOON defeating the repurposed Luna 1, which presumably was still modified and used by FU!Adaptus since the branch in the timeline happened Way Later than that. I'm having a lot of vaguely-defined FU!Rung feels is what I'm getting at here

So I went to TFNation a few weeks ago! (Sorry for taking so long to write about it) Spoiler: Panel Summaries No one was able to talk about the reboot, sadly. Spoiler: Mairghread Scott/TAAO missed the start of this because I was in a queue but here's some of the bits I was there for • Quite a lot about the differences in working with internal and external properties and differences in creator freedom - apparently for things like Titans Return Hasbro would pretty much say “we want these characters and also titans” and that would be it, but when working for Marvel there was a lot more editor scrutiny. • Titan brain textbox thing: conscious thoughts are blue, unconcious yellow, red is problems • Different combiners work differently - some do full mindmelds but others control each limb individually • A lot about the combaticons - She wanted to concentrate on the non-Swindle members and the reasons they'd have to follow someone like Onslaught and that's where the Blast-Off/Onslaught romance came from -> If TAAO had continued Blast-off and onslaught would have had a really good relationship until the guilt got too much and Blast-Off confessed to everything, at which point he would react pretty badly. Then the other members of the team would try to to convince him Whether to continue with it or break up (can’t remember who was on which side sorry) • She really doesn’t like Swindle because he’s a crook. • Fast Tankor is her favourite Tankor (and yes she did say fast) Things that got cut from LL: I think everyone knows by now but the Scavengers two-parter was supposed to be a five-parter The mutineers were originally supposed to discover the phantom fleet, not Mederi More with the Infinites and Firstborn There was going to be another arc with Chromedome and Rewind (honestly this is the one thing I really would have loved to see more than anything else . There are so many scraps of foreshadowing that Chromedome mnemosurgeried Rewind at one point and hid it from him) There were some plans for alternate universe stories - one was going to be a hospital drama with Ratchet and Pharma and another was a high school AU (more detail, sadly, was not given) There was going to be a lot more universe-hopping in general - a character (JRo didn’t say who) was going to visit the U.K. marvel comics continuity and be the reason why Omega Supreme didn’t appear. He was sort of talking about it like it was this incredibly self-indulgent bit but now 23’s out I kind of want to know exactly how it would have fit. Other stuff Tailgate was always going to remain “dead” until that point in the story because it had to be Cyclonus’s grief that led them to see Mederi as the afterspark. JRo really wanted to have a full on Swerve’s/Visages prank war at some point but couldn’t fit it in There was at one point going to be a plot arc where the crew would have made an autobot phase sixer and then he would have ended up being a pacifist, but it got cut after it was decided Megatron would be joining the lost Light Swerve still canonically has some element 113 stashed behind the bar though. He wouldn’t rule out returning to this continuity at some point in the future if given the chance, but any additional Lost Light stories would be set during the existing series as LL 25 (and OP 25) are definitively endings Roller’s holomatter avatar is canonically Jack Lawrence JRo is planning to go on a fanfic binge once the series is over. And of course, I got copious amounts of loot Spoiler: Possibly slightly too copious [SPOILER="I wasn’t kidding”]
