couldn't witches do nasty stuff to sims in the sims 3? and i think folks can die if they get fed on by a vampire when their needs are too low. and old sims can die from exhaustion after sex, and no one gets a model other than 'oh no dead'

so i think it would count as an accidental death.

 

they could add a 'fireproof' trait or a fire proof potion. upgrade your couches to be flame resistant? i mean i don't think we'll gt it either, but it would make it more fun to play an evil sims if there could be real consequences. ah well. SIMS LA FUCK YA FUCK YA HEckers

 

Ohhh, are they going to be bringing back the popularity thing from Sims 3's Late Night?

 

I saw that! I'm Concerned about the fame system because [war flashbacks to the Sims 3] and cars are just Okay for me, but I'm always very excited about new create a Sim content. When the game came out I really didn't like the aesthetic, but now I just love maxis match stuff. I wonder what other mechanics they're going to add to the game.

 

I'm more excited for this than i was for Jungle Adventure, I hope you guys are bracing yourself for screaming in November.

lol i didn't get the full sims 3 experience because what is a computer newer than a decade old? tiny me sure didn't know. and i don't want to get it now for the lag and i don't like the way the sims in general look

but tbh fuck me UPP paparazos. as long as you can turn it off i guess. or only have it for certain families? maybe you can decide to 'feed' the paparazzi more or less, like how kanye and kim west don't get bothered a lot, or lady gaga, but then other famous folks do. who knows. I'm sure the maxis folks know how many people were bothered with it in the sims 3, so there's bound to be a difference in how it works.

 

I really miss Sims 3's customization options and worlds, but I'd come to a point before my hd commited suicide that it was just plain unplayable, and now it's a lot of effort to just... do all that again.

But wrt ts4's fame system I hope it's an opt in system, like. You'll have the actor and influencer careers, and I hope there's also like... a supracareer or something so Sims in other jobs can become celebrities too, but it's not like in ts3 where if you sneeze near a random celebrity the next hour there are twenty paparazzi breaking into your house

if he has any babies in ya'll's games let me see pictures so i can see if all of his babies turn out cute. cause so far he's got a good thing going with Mizuki lol.

this is probably obvious but... the terrain tools look a LOT simpler in the sims 4 than the sims 2. hopefully we can still build on hills and stuff. i don't know if we'll get a water tool tho :( rip me beautiful stream by my garden

No water tool yet but you can build on the hills! And also have buildings with different foundation levels.

I scolded him for getting on the counter while he was still on it and he learned not to jump on them anymore but like. He was on it already. And got stuck. Wouldn't be picked up or anything. I had to move the table to make him get down

Reminds me of my irl idiot cat who figured out getting up on top of the shower box door but still hasn't figured out getting down and needs us to go fetch him about twice every day

(He is also the only cat who can operate bedroom doors. And open the pantry. Which is amazing because when you look into his eyes you can hear the elevator music; there's nothing going on in his general brain area.)
