Thanks!! It was the nail techs idea; I forgot to put the flake glitter top coat I wanted in my bag when I left the house and had no idea what to do for polish when I got there, only that I wanted black.

 

I am growing out my nails what should I paint them when they are no longer terrible and ugly

I am sorry! I went to the store to buy lunch supplies and I looked at nail polish and I was trying to find a nice green and/or some autumnal colors and instead I fell in love with a glitter polish that's subtle but very glittery when the light hits it... (I painted my toenails to test it out after I bought it. Need to get some nail polish remover before I attempt my fingers because I will make a mess lol)

 

Never apologize for glitter! Glitter is inherently awesome.

Spoiler: Rock Candy

This photo really doesn't do the polish justice. It's got fine and coarse iridescent glitter and it's pretty sparse, which makes it very subtle. Helped me ease into having polish on my nails. I'd like to try it over a solid color at some point.

Spoiler: Ice Queen

This one has a much higher glitter content! Fine silver glitter, medium iridescent glitter, and large blue/lavender glitter. It's hard to get a good coverage of the large glitter, which makes it look kind of spotty, but I really like the silver look if it anyway. It's way more obvious than the other polish: when I look at it from a distance, it almost looks like I'm wearing a sheer white polish.

I wish the photos caught the way the sparkle happens in the light, it's my favorite thing about these glittery polishes. I keep admiring my nails

 

See, I told you never to apologize for glitter, it looks GREAT.

 

I ahve become super into glittery polishes and am thinking about asking for some for the winter holidays. What are people's favorite glittery polishes? Or favorites that sparkle in general? I am a magpie in my nail lacquer tastes

I can't do it right now but tomorrow I have 2 or 3 you might like, unfortunately I can't show you what they look like on a nail because of...Reasons. But I will maybe smear a bit on some paper, there's silver and purple are my favorites.
