Mostly you find an artist who's style you like, see if they have commission info posted anywhere. If you can't find commission info page, send them a message and ask if they are currently taking commissions. If they aren't, move on to the next person you like.
i know a couple users take commissions! if you like their art style, maybe ping them or PM them and ask if they do commissions?

I was about to make a drawing request thread, but if someone else thinks it's a good idea they're welcome to it. My request is to have someone tell me what to draw. I'm thinking effed-up pairing that will get me hatemail from the anti-shippers, or just something that's effed-up in general without being illegal. Keep in mind that while I used to be able to draw, I'm not sure if I can anymore.
