I am suddenly wondering what would happen if you prototyped kernelsprites with only other kernelsprites... Like. Would they be capable of doing anything? It wouldn't likely be considered a void session I would think since that only happens if all kernelsprites are UN-prototyped. Also I want to see what those imps would look like.
Listen, I just want to examine each and every possible absurd outcome of the world that was built. That is definitely a fair theory though, and I would love to see how it mechanically plays out.
I thought that prototyping unprototyped kernelsprites with unprototyped kernelsprites was what caused the black hole when Caliborn entered? You could probably get some interesting effects if you did a single normal prototyping and then multiple sprites^x though
No the only thing that caused Caliborn's black hole was that he was the only player in the session. Which, incidentally also meant that there was only 1 kernel sprite so it couldn't have been prototyped with a kernelsprite.
That’s an interpretation- I always saw it as Caliborn’s and Calliope’s sprites being spawned in the same place and prototyping each other
