    Snitchanon What's a mod to a nonbeliever.

Those posts were wiggled for blaming Spock for actions that you yourself took.
    They're not even apologies.

Honestly, those quotes sound worse in-context.

How wonderfully coincidental that it was Spock doing the explaining.

I am pretty sure no one is hacking your computer, and what you describe here sounds like "being drunk" to me.

The context is right there. In this thread. Right. There. I'm not even going to bother disproving these points because history suggests you are guaranteed to ignore it. And for everyone else, the history is right. here.

Yeah, so these were all wiggled, which should be your first hint that even if they were apologies, there's something pretty wrong with them. Your next hint is that have been posted under spoilers in tchgb to add to the self-hostage receipts (#12-15). Your NEXT hint is to please notice how only #12 includes any words relating to 'sorry'/'apology'/etc., and that is... an apology for trying to talk about how you feel subhuman.

None of that is actually an apology for blaming me for self-harm and, again, threatening to send self-harm videos. You say at one point that you SHOULDN'T have done that (not an apology) and you say that it's a 'thing abusers do', which... does not give me much confidence you understand WHY it's abusive. And also, y'know. You followed it up by saying that your takeaway is that you shouldn't talk about your feelings because they make people uncomfortable, which 100% misses the point.

Oh, and there's still this, which you haven't acknowledged, which gives me even LESS confidence you understand what was wrong about your behavior.

Given the way you think apologizing is "debasing" yourself, I definitely get WHY you're tying yourself in knots trying to avoid it, but you know what? After you, to reiterate, threatened to send videos of your self-harm, I kind of ran out of patience with this bullshit. I'm not demanding you apologize right this moment, but I have no motivation to let you wriggle away from this with a half-assed non-apology either.

That was me. Not that I usually care, but making a point of ignoring who helps you while also complaining that nobody helps you is a bad fucking look. Remember when you wanted a judicial review because you thought I was showing up in your wiggler threads too much? Good times.

Athol Magarac I prefer reading posts without a lot of topics.

Actually, it does help for me to be able to look back and figure out what I'm talking about.

And in this case, I didn't want my showing of proof to happen where people wouldn't see that it existed even if they can't see what it is.

Hung over. I've told you the last time... I woke up without the ability to think straight.

You still trigger me half of the time. Makes it very hard to concentrate on the message if there's a problem with the messenger. Snitch is also starting to rile me.

That last wiggle with the "remove two words" was helpful. As opposed to "wiggled for (not even close to what I said)" Remember when I questioned if a poster was delusional and a mod that might have been Spock accused me of believing that the poster was telling the full unvarnished truth.

Why yes, in fact, I DO! :)))

That was from the wiggled terf logic post you yourself asked me to paraphrase in this very thread, where you asked if an abusive mom was delusional, but also went right ahead and casually believed everything she said about her child ('but the kid wasn't trans'), who she helped abuse into agreeing that they weren't actually trans after all.

Eta: And here we go, folks, this conversation is why I'm maintaining the tchgb thread, stripping away conversational detours, and absolutely refusing to remove the direct links to athol's original content.

Real awesome how you never connect this self-evaluation to the things we try so very hard to explain in the wiggler.

Okay, but just so I don't forget this train of thought... what is the point of trigger warnings?

  17. seebs

    seebs Benevolent Dictator

To allow people to avoid things that are likely to be upsetting to them, usually.

if im following the train of thought correctly - the things you said about spock and snitch were not trigger warnings. the words alerted that a trigger exists but not what it is, which makes "any communication at all" the only thing to go off unless you elaborate on what specifically is triggering you, and that is not a reasonable or doable boundary in this situation.

My train of thought is that if trigger warnings are important to help people avoid things that upset them...

I shouldn't be yelled at or be pushed into a bad state for wanting to avoid something that upsets me.

Every attempt to try and get some things set up to avoid the problem was deemed unreasonable. I tried suggesting going through a mediary to adjust how Spock's tone was setting me off. I tried asking Spock to modulate them tone, but Spock seemed offended and unwilling to cooperate.
