Oh, you mean... @palindromordnilap does your plugin have an "ignore the mods" feature?

You really haven't seen me being nasty.

Apologies are not conditional, and the fact that you seem to think they are severely devalues any apology you could ever give, because you don't understand what they mean.

Yeah I genuinely don't know what to tell you if you don't fucking read the replies people in no way owe you. Like what are you hoping to accomplish here, genuinely?

Bolding mine. I'm pretty sure that's the correct translation for the runes, though I'm doing this on mobile while at work, so it would be super fantastic if communication could just be fucking clear in the first place.

Yeah, that's my takeaway from the runes too.

Well, it doesn't, but it's pretty easy to just manually ignore them. Doesn't Kintsugi's regular ignore function also allow that?

I don't think so. It looks like the button is gone when you try to look for it on a mod profile

"it's a social experiment, dude!" is one of the oldest deflection tricks in the book. (not really, but it's at least as old as the internet)

if you actually understood that there was a problem with your behavior, you wouldn't be saying this bs

but honestly? I think you only said you understood what was wrong bc you felt like you had to to get people off your back

I don't believe you actually understand what's wrong with anything you've done

and even if you did, I don't think you'll ever give a sincere apology that isn't "I done goofed," bc that would be admitting that you're wrong and you're too much of a narcissist to ever do that

Kintsugi's regular ignore function is disabled for mods for some reason. I don't know why? I assume it might be a software limitation.
But yeah, @Athol Magarac you can literally just choose not to engage with spock. It's magical how easy it is to close a tab and walk away to, you know, do literally anything else entirely.

Then close the browser. Walk away from the computer. You are not being forced to engage with anyone here, much less "cast from hitpoints" to continue this conversation.

You are a real piece of work, Athol.

You are trapped in a hell of your own devising, and nobody on this forum is able to get you out. I'm engaging out of- boredom? at this point. If you genuinely want help with improving your life, take up one of the multiple people who've offered to help you find ways to get sober and find a therapist.

If you want to continue to live in a world where everyone is constantly pissed off with you.... keep doing this. It's working perfectly.

It's a very hard software limitation in the way the board software is arranged, which is a little bit so you can't avoid Official Communications.
Seebs promises to write better board software (when they get around to it, which'll be never)

Oh, okay. I don't have the extension available right now, unfortunately (it's only on my desktop computer), but I'll try to post it somewhere when I get back to it. Can someone remind me to do that on Sunday, probably around noon your time?

  17. Athol Magarac

Athol Magarac I prefer reading posts without a lot of topics.

It was like the spoiler tag. I can read that pretty easily, but it's still something that takes effort and gives an indicator that you probably shouldn't. Would rot13 have been better?

  18. seebs

    seebs Benevolent Dictator

Yeah, the software simply won't permit it. I tried to patch it to enable that, but unsuccessfully.

The software sort of relies on the assumption that mod communications are Inherently Necessary. We could probably do some elaborate fuckery with mod-account/non-mod-account, but I basically hate that.

I thought she was referring to seebs' use of the Cthulhu font to represent things that the suspected NPD won't let her process.

It creeps me out that she'd use that as the stand in word. Because naturally.

I think the coders' assumption was that if you can ignore mods they can't do their jobs.

    edit: very ninja-ed
