Super General Advice (the thread for advice without making a thread)

I'm trying to figure out what color I should type in and I'm having a hard time choosing, what does everyone think is best?
On the one hand I have recently been claiming blue as My Color Which Is Me.
But on the other hand I'm a Pisces so obviously this color would be appropriate.
But on the 3rd hand purple is GREAT.
But then on the fourth hand I'm also bi...

Looking at the blue too long on the black background is legit likely to trigger a migraine for me and the purple seems least likely to do that, so that's what I vote.

I'm in the market for an ergonomic mouse and keyboard, and I'm having trouble knowing how to choose a brand or even where to start looking. Specifically, I think I want a vertical mouse and a split keyboard, based on some conversations I've had with my occupational therapist and people who've used them. (I don't have any existing injuries or health problems, but using my computer currently causes a lot of wrist strain and I want to fix that before it becomes a bigger problem. Also planning to replace my desk and desk chair, but I can handle those myself.)

Does anyone have recommendations for (or against) specific models for either of these things, or tips for how to search? I've never shopped for this stuff before so it's all kind of overwhelming to me right now.

 

@keltena my boyfriend is asleep right now but he has Opinions on this, seeing as he both games and works from home on the computer and has had wrist surgery. I can ask him when he wakes up if you like?

@keltena He recommended this vertical mouse and this keyboard! He also said that for optimum ergonomics you should look at a site that has an ergonomics calculator so you can optimize how far back from the keyboard you are based on your height and the ideal height of your desk and screen, and that if you need a wrist pad, Grafiti is the brand he recommends.
