Fishin' in the stream of consciousness (all-purpose, no topic chat thread)

I should know better than to go reading legend of zelda fanfiction, it always ends up with me staring between my bank account balance and nintendo switch price listings and crying

 

Have to bring food to a potluck in a couple of weeks and I’ve never had to do this before. Is beef stew an acceptable food for this sort of thing?

 

Depends on what the general idea is. If it's finger foods, then no. If it's more meal like, then yes ;)

If you do that, make sure that there will be bowls at the potluck. I once made goulash for a potluck, and thank goodness I brought the bowls, because no one thought of them and we wouldn't have been able to eat it otherwise :P

 

Depends, do you know if a lot of your co-workers are vegetarian or otherwise unable to eat beef?

 

Only one is. Which is weird because she’s eaten chicken before. I thought about making an Oreo cheesecake but someone’s already planning on bringing cookies. (And I work in a cupcake shop)

 

Goulash might be good to make too. We have bowls at work thankfully.

 

Beef stew seems perfectly appropriate for a potluck to me!

It took me three hours, but now I have 10 fully fledged 'Sinterklaas' rhymes. And some of them could be considered very clever too :D
