Some discussion on Tumblr about the theory that the Alternian Empire never actually conquered any aliens because there aren't any (note that the only evidence we have that Alternia conquers aliens is that Alternians tell us so):
I feel like I recall something in canon that said like each of the planets (Earth, Alternia, and Callie/Caliborn's birthplace) were ALL Earth so it strikes me that outside of SBURB, that there are no actual aliens in Homestuck until you actually get into the game. Which, if true, would lend some huge support to that theory.
The Big Bangs are underway!! We've been Considering having a winter miniswap (it would be for Polyswap, so Poly Homestuck Pairings Only, do not show up and tell us "I'd be into it if it was [other thing]", that gets you nothing but Pissed Mods), but that would depend on several factors, e.g. how quickly mods finish their own assignments, how busy we are with work/school, and how our IRL stuff is going this is kind of an...interest check? If we can manage to get all the ducks in a row, would people want a winter miniswap? (note: miniswaps are 500 words or one sketch)
it would also probably be themed! we have a few suggestions (okay we have one) and some mod ideas (we have several of these) for what it would be ...we're also going to be hammering the "we're not drone season" point a little harder from here on out
DON'T GET ME WRONG the mod squad loves drone season it puts out good shit but it's also SUPER difficult to mod kink-heavy stuff in a Minors Included swap @_@

GB's got it right! you could also do what we've had some people do—list off a few characters that you enjoy seeing and say "go wild, anything on [theme] in your style with these guys, please and thank you" certain exchanges also allow "any character" for prompts, so that's an option too @Saro—polyswap doesn't, because we match by hand (HELL!!! IT IS HELL!!!!!!) but if you want to include some notes on "hey I tagged these six bc they're my faves but ANYONE [except hard no characters] is good!" we'll take it into account and wish you many many winter blessings
