The Bumblebee movie is out and while I've not seen it yet, I have peeked at the RT ratings and we're looking at a solid ninety-fucking-four percent from the critics To compare, the other movies scored (with the critics) transformers: 57 RotF: 19 DotM: 35 AoE: 18 TLK: 15 So in conclusion: fucking obliterated, Michael Bay found dead in Miami, robots finally redeemed on the big screen.

Bumblebee is amazing and I'm so so so happy i'm going to go see it again at some point. The characters are well-written, the humor is actually funny (i nearly cried laughing at a couple points lmao) and the fight scene cinematography is much easier to read than the bay movies have been. Also the bomble himself is frikkin ADORABLE.
