Xavius used to do mod stuff. Xavius took a break for mental health reasons due to other stress. Xavius has volunteered to resume. Sounds cool.
Hey guys. I've been back for a while insofar as posting goes, but I'm willing to start undertaking responsibilities again insofar as curating this forum goes! I've been thinking extensively about the possibility of returning. My last go-around with modhood I think was generally well-received but overall weighed poorly on my health. For that reason I'm taking to this with the utmost of caution, though not sans optimism. Should be a good time! If it isn't a good time, anyone who followed my decline of health last time, know I'm taking steps to make sure my situation elsewhere isn't incredibly tumultuous this time around and I'm going to be trying ardently to monitor myself and be aware of any problems.
I appreciate the warm welcome! I should clarify something, though, that I somehow failed to bring up in my last post. For the immediate foreseeable future I intend to mostly be straying away from forum drama and decisive, widesweeping actions. Naturally, saying this has probably condemned me to take part in it somehow, but my intention is to just be resolving reports, moving posts...minor, kinda banal stuff like that until I alleviate some of the things on my workload. Just saying so nobody expects me to bust into a controversial thread with a boombox on my shoulder and start laying down sick burns on some forum malcontent.
However you're helping is fine. If the forum drama would poorly impact your mental health, you need to watch out for that!
When I saw this thread I thought something terrible had happened to Xavius so I'm very happy that that wasn't the case. Glad to know that you're taking care of yourself while helping out!
no see if something horrible had happened to Xavius, the subject would have been "Re: Xavius" because it was in-reference-to. this is "Re Xavius" as in "again". [yes i actually thought this through when making the thread.]
