One of the wrapping papers we got has glitter on it and our entire house is completely glitterfied. I am covered in glitter and my mom just went "you look like a twilight character. Team [deadname]" and I'm still giggling.

why do. why do some youtube channels have memberships now. what the fuck.

 

Like, as in you need to buy a subscription to them or something? Because YouTube actually added that option quite a while ago, I think - I've never seen many people making use of it, though.

 

One channel I follow has it optional, like a fanclub

 

yeah it's supposed to be essentially a patreon-like mechanism because people were (rightfully) pissed off that youtube demonetized videos mentioning patreon/linking to it without offering anything to replace that.

 

Oh, okay. I wasn’t aware that was a thing that happened, I thought it was just one more way people are making money out of YouTube.

 

I mean. Frankly I would never begrude youtube artists ways to monetize their content, especially given what the current production quality standard is.

@budgie Hmm I think the element of popping in the mouth is similar yeah, though the seaweed has a lot more juice and has a bit of a slimy texture, which I don't remember Tobiko having
