I noticed. I tired to set up a wishlist but couldn´t figure out how. That is, I thought that was how, because ebay is wonderfully unhelpful.
I made a wishlist :> I tried to just put things I need on it birf: 7/26 http://amzn.com/w/34TBZZDS5SAYR
Name: Soul Birthday: 10/25 Wishlists: http://smile.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/1R6AG0R74ZGNH http://smile.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/2DTJ0CAAWJ3C5
Hey all remember to select an address you want things shipped to otherwise people can gift you items!
@Valerie yeah amazon makes it trickery than they need, I think it's because they assumed when setting up the software for the wishlists that people would be buying mostly for people they know in meat space. They haven't really updated it in years. To add you address to your wish list you click the List Actions button and click update list profile. From there it should let you select an address for shipping.
amazons off site wish list function does not play well with a lot of sites. I'd suggest using what pumpkins wish list function. As for the address I'm not sure what you are asking to be able to help. You might try just adding ebooks and amazon gift cards to your list if any address info being seen is not something you want. Or giving a paypal donation link. Sorry I can't help.
Just a note to folks to remember that amazon has a 'pantry' feel free to add food goods you might need.
@Valerie You should be able to edit the spreadsheet and replace the amazon list with whatever you want. Sorry for the trouble!
I feel kinda nervous, but I guess I'll take this as an excuse to finally set a wishlist up. When it's figured out, I'll post it.
Ah, you are right. I'll ask about getting that changed so everyone can edit. If you know how to get your 'donate' paypal link, you might put that in place of the amazon one or just provide a email address you feel comfortable getting e-gift cards to places like What Pumpkin and Topaco? Sorry I'm making a hash of this everyone.
