only bummer is that my favorite xmas candy (these really good sour gummies) wasn’t in there...given that my parents know it’s my fave i’m guessing they were just out of it at the chocolate shop tho

edit: dad confirmed that they were out of the gummies...at every branch of the chain that sells them that he and mom checked. (they checked FOUR different stores for ‘em bc they know how much i love them...apparently they are very popular and understandably so!) he says we can prolly have another look soon tho ;u;

honestly even though i did not get the gummies it means a lot that my parents put in so much work trying to find them for me?

• a lil paperweight/phone holder shaped like a hand (from my grandma actually but still)
• the gravity falls box set, which has audio commentary on EVERY SINGLE EPISODE and some really rad-lookin' bonus features aaaaaaaaaaah :D

so obviously not a massive amount of gifts, but tbh quality > quantity when it comes to presents! and like i said, i got EVERYTHING i especially wanted, so i am very pleased. :3

so she had this idea about steven holding a big dinner to help with the ceasefire between the cgs and the diamonds, and for it to devolve into the typical Meal With Relatives You Hate, right? and i was gonna do it as a fic but i have realized that it would actually be even more fun as a comic. so i'ma work on the script for that asap!
