I don't quite know where Celestine's gem would be - maybe on the back/top part of the right wrist, since I have a freckle on either side of that spot? Also Celestine can, I think, fly, just because of the whole sky thing. Also her hair is super cloud-fluffy and curly. I can't wait for the Gemsona maker that dolldivine is making to come out.

He's decided this seems to be a good idea and also realized he didn't need to create forms with boobs. Which made him really happy. He talks way too much or not at all and also communicates through various mouth sounds (bloops or merps or whatever). His weapon is a giant axe and his current form is v. Smol. He likes flowers.
He doesn't get why it'd be strange to wear lots of blue flowers in a crown while having an axe slightly larger than he is. Also gem is on his chest a la amethyst.
Basically I cant decide on a gem/mineral. I have four pages open of things I saw that I liked, but I also wear this ring everyday, but I cant remember the gem in it! And I would quite like to use that one. >:| I'll take a picture, but I also remember never hearing of the gem before. Which rules out things like tourmaline, emerald, turquoise, amazonite.. etc I havent even thought of meaning or anything yet. urgh So pages I currently have up Biotite Curite Lepidolite 1 Lepidolite 2 Almandine 1 Almandine 2 Černýite and I'll post the picture of my ring once I take it.
I think I'm going to go with Moss Agate for mine - I *could* go with the gem I'm named after IRL, but that would be boring and predictable and unfitting anyway, and I have cool ideas for a design. :D Pictures to come once I'm done working on this essay about fruit flies.
Because I'm ridiculously sentimental I kind of want to make a Gemsona with Carnelian, because that's the stone on a cool ring that my brother gave to me ages and ages ago.
@peripheral omg brofist for having gems who switched to male after being on earth *bump* (also he sounds amazing and if it wasn't for homework I would definitely give drawing him a shot) @Imoyram I'm not great at identifying stones, but that almost looks like it could be a form of Kyanite? Or maybe some form of Opal? If you'd be willing to wait a few hours, I could have my geologist friend see if she could identify it Otherwise, my vote would personally be on Almandine, but that may be because I'm biased towards pretty rich reds XD

Not sure if this will help anything, but I got it in a Wall Drug (a markety thing) in Wall (the town) in South Dakota. *shrug* @raginghearts Sure! I'm not really in any rush, so that would be fine. Also if I were to use Almandine it would probably be the uncut ones, because they are gorgeous (first link second picture). @liminal I dont think its that, from what I remember it was a pretty long mineral sounding name, maybe ending in 'ite' or things like that. :\
aww ok, I was just going by how it looks blue and stripey xD I am not well versed in minerals. I just loved collecting rocks as a kid because shiny.
