    it takes casimir a while to find her, since she's convinced he's looking for her to kill her, not adopt her. and she's a survivor, she's pretty good at hiding. but she doesn't have to live with cousin pyotr, and she'll eventually have good dads who care. and are not undead.

    hermes is usually a silent purr kinda guy, but just now as i was brushing him, he purred so loud the other kitties came wandering in to see what was going on. i think the dry air is bothering him as much as it bothers me. he must be itchy, poor button.

    he also farted right in my face, because cats gotta cat.

    I know it was a rec i made several pages ago, but im rewatching log horizon and i noticed something i found to be kinda triggering. There's two major characters, one being child sized and the other an adult who often makes the other play dress up and hugs on her no matter how many times she says no or physically runs away. Im pretty sure it's just the trope, but it happens far more than any other anime ive seen. Thought id put a warning out

    i had a really sudden and heavy mood crash this evening, and everything i could do was suddenly really unappealing, including doing nothing. the only thing that sounded remotely palatable was reading 'agent of asgard' on the marvel site, but the signup process took forever, and i STILL haven't gotten the confirmation email. when seebs asked me to come watch tv, my impulse was to refuse because ugh, everything is terrible, that doesn't sound good at all.

    but i did it anyway, because if everything is equally terrible, then i might as well be terrible near family. and it did soothe me a bit. though i grumped at spouse and kidlet for talking over the tv and made them back the episode up a few times. they were chill about it.

    'elementary' is better than 'sherlock' because their sherlock gradually outgrows his bullshit and becomes a really good friend to watson. and i am a sucker for the Power Of Friendship, especially when i'm bummed out.

    i finally got through the online signup and paying-money-thing for the marvel site, with a little help from my seebs. now i am at last reading 'loki: agent of asgard' in glorious laptop-o-vision. and it starts with a shower scene. they know their audience. :D

    gotta say i'm a bit disappointed he's not singing this tho
