Probably-unnecessary background: the Devil Forgemasters are from Curse of Darkness, which is a 3D action-adventure rather than the series' wheelhouse of side-scrolling 2D action platformers. Hector is the MC, who betrays Dracula, and Isaac is his rival who doesn't. Their powers are a bit different from the anime, too- in the game, it's less "necromancy" and more "summon Pokemon devils." Hector's anime design is generally in the ballpark of his game design, but they pretty much threw Isaac's out entirely for the anime. anyway this is official art Spoiler: dubiously SFW
That Sure Is A Look but i appreciate that Castelvania has equal opportunity fan service. Give me those mostly naked men in ridiculous poses.
I swear like 50% of official art of male Castlevania characters has them in thigh-high high-heeled boots and poses best described as "I stick my legy out really far."

Im not surprised they changed things for the anime tho. I imagine anyone suggesting someone animate those for less than a fortune would be strangled and mounted in the lobby as a warning to others. So much fiddly detail!
