Lapis has a lot of “guilty pleasures”—as in, shit that she’s vaguely embarrassed to enjoy, but that she enjoys regardless. Pretty Hairstylist is the biggest offender, and she has every single volume.

Rose fucked Alexander Hamilton and you can’t tell me otherwise.

Jasper’s flawless eyeliner isn’t even part of her form. It’s VERY carefully-applied, and it’s a bit of a point of pride for her. (Post-inevitable-redemption, she and Steven will probably become absolute makeover FIENDS.)

Peridot did, eventually, finish her 1001-page essay about how Paulette is the worst character on CPH. It is entirely in all caps and contains numerous typographical errors. (The font may or may not be Comic Sans.)

Sollux makes a lot of affectionately snarky comments towards people he's close to, be they quadrantmates or just especially close friends. It's just how he tends to show affection, and the tone of those comments is markedly different from the snark he might hurl at someone he dislikes.

AUGH ONE OF THE JOYCON LIKE...SILICONE COVER THINGIES ON MY SWITCH FELL OFF AND IDK WHERE IT IS >:/

 

Aradia is a bit of a dirt gremlin from her archaeological work; her hygiene as a whole is generally fine, she showers and all that, but her fingernails are perpetually dirty.

Pearl loves hot baths, and has ever since her Homeworld days. She's gonna flip (in the best way) when Steven informs her that bath bombs are A Thing That Exists.

Connie writes fanfiction, and it's quite competently-written, albeit a bit overwrought and purple-prosey. Her main fandoms are The Spirit Morph Saga (canon) and Homestuck (probably canon), but she's dabbled in writing for other things.

 

i should note that this is not a Huge Deal, nothing on my switch itself is fucky and i can probably very easily buy new covers at the viddy game store downtown (and if not there, i can order ‘em off amazon), but. annoyance.

 

honestly i don’t get pale solara bc i don’t think they’d work well as moirails? like...they’re still good for each other imo! but not in a pale way. (i think they’d be more inclined to kind of egg each other on in a lot of circumstances, tbh?) nothing against people who ship it that way of course, i just...don’t really grok it u feel me

flushed solara is the homestuck otp tho, i love it. snarky disaster teens in love...my aesthetic. and i think they could have a good healthy redrom relationship tbh, they clearly care for each other immensely and mesh incredibly well?

(that being said, 99% of solara fic is Garbage and this makes me a sad acey)

For Pearlmethyst, it’s my eternal headcanon that they’re exes in canon and had a deeply unhealthy-at-the-time-given-the-Circumstances relationship shortly after Rose’s death, and ultimately broke up rather acrimoniously, hence their initial tension in season 1. However, I think they’d actually be really good for each other now, since they’re starting to really work past their baggage and seem pretty damn close nowadays!

As for Lapidot: Lapis originally started watching CPH with Peridot as a way of understanding her better. However, she got legitimately sucked in, and that just makes her enjoy rewatching it with Peridot even more.
