Admittedly I am a gremlin whose primary interest in breakfast food is "can I eat it without any utensils and preferably one handed" because this makes eating while doing things in the morning easier but I definitely don't like eggs alone. Cracked into grits or fried with toast or scrambled in a tortilla, fine, but I'll only eat omelets just by themselves.
Mostly agree but sorghum/wheat bisks need to be entirely soaked before eating. Getting a dry mouthful is Unpleasant.
non-solid egg is the worst texture hands down eggs are for baking, not for eating on their own 99% of the time
Yeah, see, I personally can't stand eggs at all when there's any sort of rubbery texture. Otherwise, I've even been known to eat them raw at times.
Agree, thats why i like them wet. Dry eggs are a 100% Overcooked Nightmare. The texture is Bad. Although i dont think i could eat them completely raw, thats a bit much for me
Best eggs: A. over easy with runny yolks, eat the whites first and then spread the yolks on a piece of buttered toast like jam B. two eggs fried together in one blob, pop the yolks, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, put a lid on the pan and fry for a couple minutes and then flip cheese side down onto buttered toast, ideally accompany with sliced red pepper to cut the grease and salt C. frittata
raw egg yolk with soy sauce = the most delicious dipping sauce a japanese-inspired restaurant has ever given me. godly.
Poll: how sweet should hot chocolate be? My sibling loves hot chocolate but they make it as basically sweetened milk most of the time. I like mine more on the bitter side and I add sugar to taste using whipped cream and/or handfuls of freeze-dried mini marshmallows (which you can buy in bulk in case you didn’t know, you’re welcome)
About as sweet as Irish cream imo. Not so much sugar it covers up the chocolate taste but a significant amount.
The sweeter the better*, imo, though DARK hot chocolate is the superior chocolate experience. *Author used to eats cups of sugar straight as a child, probably can't be trusted.
